Well, crap! If the map is accurate, it's headed right toward us - we are 20 miles inland from Ft. Myers, which puts us on the "dirty side" of the storm if it tracks as predicted.
Silver lining - up till now the wifey has resisted my efforts to go vote early... maybe now I can finally convince her. The downside is, she doesn't like to admit when I am right. :) kek
Unless you're in Arkansas, you'll be fine ... news came out yesterday that Lithium is in Arkansas, so now they gotta do the thing.
Where at? Anywhere near the NXIVM cult that fled to New York after Hillary kicked them out for muscling in on her territory?
I'm right south of yah. Hurricane party? Haha
We bugged out for Irma, stayed for Ian. I have plenty of provisions, underground utilities, and storm-ready Internet backup. Howdy, neighbor!
LOL
That's just the calm before the storm....
It's not on any reliable radar. This is BS
I’ll come back in 5 days
It the forecast model. Use the slider and move it through Nov 5. The storm track goes all the way through to Maine.

A lot can change in 12 days, especially with a system as chaotic as the weather. Weather modeling is the subject that gave us the idea of the “butterfly effect”, after all.
Exactly. Nothing on the radar and everything has cooled since Milton came through. Hurricane season is over.
just keep telling yourself that weather modification is not a thing... ;)
If you would just vote for The Giggler the HAARP people would leave you alone.
There's no storm there
TO ALL FLORIDIANS...VOTE NOW FOREVER HOLDS YOUR PEACE....
Wowza.... I have tarps on 1/3 of my roof!!!!!!!! Getting rather dicy but NOT as dicy when sitting in a Combat Search & Rescue heli......
Time to holster up and go BALLS TO THE WALL...GREAT BALLS OF FIRE!!!! I tell ya'!!!!!
Time for some more cabernet'!!!!!!!! Just sayin'
Why do they keep going the same place?
Definitely saw that coming
bingo! what do I win?
Looks like another Jamaica-Cuba-Florida hurricane. Models suggest Cat 4-5 on landfall in Jamaica and Cuba, and Cat 3-4 on landfall in Florida. Of course it's going in the same places that Helene and Milton went.

Just checked the National Hurricane Center website, and there is NO hurricane activity in the Atlantic and Gulf. JessWithTheMess is a total BS.
Cool story handshake... You’re relying on a government agency to hold your hand and show you on their little website.
