Seriosly. I read somewhere that about 25% (or was it 50?) Christians are NOT voting. Like do they have their heads up their ass? This is spritiual warfare and the fate of the unborn is on the ballot so why did they not receive a wake up call? I know there’s still time but we’re edging pretty damn close to the finish line here..!!
Exactly - seems they forget that the US has MILLIONS of people and ALL deserve representation and have their voice heard. I once read the way to know compromise was successful is when no one goes home happy but no one goes home feeling ignored either.
Bump stocks are all we lost in concession to the Las Vegas shooter, worst mass shooter in American history. Plus, the bump stocks went to court and got tossed by the supreme Court anyway, 5D chess.
Evangelicals making this about abortion is insanity. That competes with the Left's insanity. Really? It went back to state's rights, where it belongs. Fight it out on your own local level - no national mandates either way, that is NOT the place. The Left wants this to be all about abortion, and if they win, a WHOLE helluva lot more babies will be killed and you know it.
My sister in law does not believe I am saved because I drank a glass of wine. That would make Jesus a sinner. She believes her church decides who can be saved, not the Bible. I don't know how some of them call themselves Christian.
I actually saw, on my way to vote yesterday, a "Christians for Harris/Walz" sign (in Tennessee!). You have to be a real moron to be a Christian and vote for Harris.
Christians are to be truth seekers with a heart for righteousness. When I became a Christian, I was led to this awakening. It is crazy that fellow Christians would roll over - that pretty much means they are slapping the crap out of their fellow man. That's NOT loving your neighbor. That's damning your neighbor. Dumping your neighbor in a pit of American hell. Shame on them.
Reminds me of someone who just prays when there is something they can immediately do to fix something. Nothing wrong with prayer but God gave you the ability to make change happen without his help. I have direct experience with these type of people. My aunt. She and her family will not go to the doctor for anything, including birth.
There are two common reasons why Christians don't vote.
And I'm sharing these from personal experience -
1st reason - Self-righteous pride - "There's no one I fully agree with, so I'm not going to use my vote to back someone I don't fully agree with."
I get it. But news flash - there's never going to be a perfect candidate, including yourself, if you're using Jesus as an example of what perfect looks like. It's about moving the ball an inch in the right direction - it's not about being Perfect.
2nd reason - They don't understand the Biblical perspective on voting/government.
In many churches, it's simply not taught. It's avoided as a "hot topic". Sad, because the Bible equips us to be able to walk into every "hot topic" with clarity and confidence, if we learn those things.
Politics is everywhere in the Bible. God uses Kings and Governments as a way to interact with people. Bad Kings are given to people that need them. Good Kings are given to people who need them.
God gave us the opportunity, in the US, to have a government that we can participate in. Therefore, it is our God Given RESPONSIBILITY to respond to that gifted opportunity.
Not every country gets that opportunity. God allowed US to have it. Therefore, we are asked for a response.
If we ignore the responsibility because we lack appreciation for what God has given us - then God will respond accordingly.
Maybe we need a Bad King. (And that is what we got).

They're idiots. Evangelicals don't want to vote bc Trump won't make a national abortion ban. They can't see that Roe v Wade was already a huge win.
I saw gun enthusiasts had a similar stance on Trump because Trump allowed butt-stocks to be banned.
One tiny detail upsets them; so they're willing to risk the future of civilization over that one tiny detail.
Turns out single issue voters are fucking retarded
Small minds
Especially the abortion right to choose demoncrats My Boomer neighbor is one of them.
Why would this issue be so important to a post menopausal women?
Bumstock.
Asstock
S/he remains ignorant about this specific ban since it's been over turned

Jesus will set the evangelicals straight I just hope they won't cost us the war until He returns

Agree 100%
The Church of Laodicea
Those fundies might as well be muslims wanting sharia

If that fails to show lack of own thoughts, I don't know what will.

Hasn't been my observation here in the Great Lakes state of Michigan. A few said they won't vote, but definitely the majority are going to vote.
I think Trump said at a rally this week that 49% of Christians typically don’t vote. :-O
Why? "Because it is in God's hands".

Hospitals are for sick people and vulnerable babies should not be in such close contact with deadly diseases. I would support birthing centers.
