I dont think this is correct. Here is the full episode. Q appears only at the very end and says "Welcome to the very end of the road not taken"

Yeah, he figured out finally that the LLMs can hallucinate. However, Q character is very notable. I have watched a few episodes in a different Star Trek series where Q first shows up. He is literally testing to see whether Humanity is worth being allowed to live or something like that. I don't think the name is a coincidence. Its probably early pre-Q day comms.
