I voted Red all the way and it processes the ballot and then the guy said I was all set. When i asked if i got a confirmation of who i voted for he said no and that it was all set.
How can I tell my vote went to Trump and wasn’t switched?

It was all set... At this point im not sure it matters. There is going to be such a mess like you never seen. Best case scenario a lot of traitors get executed, worst case, well I dont want to think about it.
it's like magic. You just have to believe!
Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain…
Now click your heels together three times and go home…
Sadly, you can't really know.... the process is so opaque that even if you could be sure the initial scan was correct, you never know what happens to memory cards, tabulators etc... even paper ballots, they could easily collect them, swap them with pre-made ones and destroy the evidence. There are infinite ways to cheat.
I see two major issues with voting machine:
That's the best part, you don't!
Similar crap in FL, which is supposedly 'better' at anti-cheat. Well, not really, at least not in this county. Magic machine 'scanned' the little black circles, and I'm supposed to trust it did the right job, and that every other step of the way (counting/aggregating) will also do the right job.
The voting system in this COUNTRY is so broken, at every level imaginable.
But it all makes sense if you consider that the entire system, and every component of it, IS DESIGNED TO MAKE IT EASY TO CHEAT.
Not designed for trust, not for correctness, not for accuracy, not even for ease of use.
FOR EASE OF CHEATING.
Then your cognitive dissonance disappears :)
Same with me . Wish there was a receipt , where it confirms who you voted for . 🤞
I ask for one every year.
I hate that we have to "trust" the machine. Let us please return to paper ballets.
In our district in NY (Madison County - I don’t think all counties in the state use the same machines, but maybe) you have to ask an election worker before you insert the ballot to see the results. He/she inserts a key and pushes a button and the results will show on the screen before you push cast ballot. We weren’t allow to tell people unless they ask but it is written on the display board that no one reads..
This won't even be a question in coming years.
No more "voting machines"!
I see the physical ballot a second time behind glass showing my selections, before I hit "cast".
... But that doesn't necessarily mean there's no fuckery after the fact.
When I inserted my ballot into the machine, the cheerful lady working there said “your vote has been counted!” And I had to just take her word. That was it. Oh and “go get your sticker” as if I was a child. I’m saving my sticker to put on my awesome metal Trump sign that has been in my front window since last election.
Just keep praying.
You don’t. It’s a black box for a reason.
Some machines have a paper backup ballot that prints when you finalize your choice. In theory, the paper ballots can be counted against the computer totals for verification.
Same. And due to early voting you had to ensure you inserted into correct tabulator. That being said, the poll workers at my location seemed on top of things. The issue would be with the machines and adjudicating later.
