I'm sorry, I'm as prepper and paranoid as the last person, but what does using an app for your monthly cycle have to do with it? Just having a written record?
Apparently, alpha males will break into your period apps and figure out your fertility then impregnate overweight, blue haired, cat ladies.
Kek
No no no, I wish it was that. Some of these people truly believe there will be squads going door to door checking in on anyone who is pregnant. (The abortion bad gestapo). Similar vein as the tiktok videos going around giving advice on how to hide your trans or gay friends, protect their information, and advising not to tell anyone that you know them. I haven't yet seen anyone claim that women will be rounded up and taken away STRICTLY for being women, but I'm sure some out there are saying it. It must be very difficult being these people.
I think you've uncovered a plot for a dystopian movie where the pregnant women are rounded up and brought to "birthing camps" where they are forced to give birth to children who are then raised by their fascist overlords to eventually become soldiers, brownshirts, medical staff, etc., in the fascist regime. :)
Omg you guys are too funny. π

In their dreams!
So that is actually a thing? A period app? Good Lord.
Tracking menstrual cycles is the basis of Catholic birth control. It just helps women (pEoPLe wHo mEnStRuAtE) know when they are most fertile. If they want to become pregnant, that's when they have the sexy times. If they don't want to become pregnant, they avoid the sexy times or practice their pull-out game. Having an app to replace the pen and paper method that has been used for centuries isn't weird. What's weird is that the blue-haired beauties think that they are literally going to be abducted when they become pregnant and forced to give birth without their consent.
I fully understand Catholic beliefs surrounding birth control. I'm just amazed women today need an app. I'm 59 with 2 children and 2 grandchildren. Women for hundreds of years have tracked menstrual cycles - no app. Lol it's NOT that difficult
They got no rhythm...
NO 2025 is going to monitor your period and if you miss a cycle, report you for having an abortion . . . . so something like that. They are stooopid.
Oohhh.. right.. ty. I heard some crazy thing about miscarriages being illegal or something?! What even. π€¦ββοΈ
They think abortions will be banned, completely. The app tracking seems to be to protect the door-to-door pregnancy checkers from kicking down their door to make sure they are still pregnant (and that they aren't harboring any squirrels). They also believe COUNTLESS women have died, bled out in the streets from not having access to abortion.
"and that they aren't harboring any squirrels"πΈπ
Didn't China monitor women's periods during the 'One child only' mandate?
Not with an ap. There were party women who checked on the women in their jurisdiction to find out if any of them got pregnant.
So did Ceausescu, but for the opposite reason.
I'm pretty sure they think "A Handmaid's Tale" is the manual for what is coming. They have no grasp on reality, so they cling to their hollywood programming.
It's so annoying to me that a novel that is not even memorable is being touted as this amazing novel--in the same vein as 1984 or Fahrenheit 451. Trust me, it's not. It's not even an interesting read. I'm speaking as somebody who read it many years ago--long before the Great Awakening--because I have an interest in dystopian fiction. The Handmaid's Tale is pedantic and boring. These people would have been better served by reading the formerly mentioned truly stellar dystopian novels or another one I found amazing: Yevgeny Zamyatin's We. Of course, they wouldn't like this last one since it's a pretty scathing indictment of communism written by somebody who barely escaped it with his life. But let's elevate Margaret Atwood instead. I'll pass. I still hold in esteem great writers, like Mark Twain and William Faulkner and Flannery O'Connor and Charles Dickens and Jane Austen and Charlotte Bronte. What the education system has done to literature and to our children is almost unforgivable. But we will take both back. We will Make America Literate Again. And in the process we will Make Americans Intelligent Again.
Yeahβ¦sooo annoying!!!
