So if I had to venture a guess at a potential Higher education game plan. The proposed “American Academy” should it actually be launched will largely handle General Education courses and perhaps a few of the more generic Bachelors/Associates Degrees for the general populace.
While the new/reformed Colleges will have the opportunity to hyper specialize. Instead of needing to offer a full selection of classes. They can primarily offer classes largely focused on 1-2 categories and thereby can afford to have them taught by high-end specialists and people with experience in the career field. As opposed to career academics who haven’t stepped off a Campus and mingled with us “Commoners” in decades. Making the investment in pursuing Higher Education more likely to be worth it.
Liberal arts can still be a thing, but supplemental, not a main course of study. Meaning, everyone should know why War and Peace is important, for example, but not everyone has to read the whole thing.
Wow. These are the harshest words I've heard Trump espouse since his victory. He almost sounds like he wants to go after the universities moreso than the MSM. I also fear for Trump's safety more now that he's made that statement. Think of all the loonatic professors whose jobs will be terminated. They will be very angry and probably think the only way to get restitution is to do something stupid towards Trump. (Head on a swivel, Donald) I like the idea of going after the money. That chunk of change will run this country for a year, what better way to utilize it than paying down our debt or helping those folks who really need a hand up.

Yes, these academic idiots get their cushy tenured positions and suddenly think they're God's gift. Using other appropriate textbooks don't fit their classes so they BILK you for "their" books and downloads. Nothing but a bunch of egomaniacal narcissists spouting leftist bullshit. Most of them couldn't find a job outside of academia because they have no real skills. It's been that way for far too many years and maybe Trump can finally get rid of the corruption and nonsense.
Musk thrives on challenges. I bet he'd love to develop a checklist with VDH and DD to score schools. He'd also have good input on how to better use technology to improve the learning experience. He knows what students need to become useful members of tomorrow's workforce. He's like Trump when it comes to high energy.
Musk has brilliant people in his organizations that know how to spot and train talent- but, you know what? There are a lot of other people out there that are fantastic at it as well, who have been marginalized by dei. Let's encourage them to sign up for this redesign of requirements.
