Edit: look at the moment when Donald Trump and Sly Stallone hold hands.
Trump is so powerful, so strong. In that moment, we see Sly Stallone, who, as an actor, is after all, a story teller. Which is fine. But Donald Trump is the reality about which stories will be told. Full of presence and authority, walking in the strength of the mantle of God's spirit (if you'll allow me a scriptural metaphor).
At the end of the day, an actor portrays greatness in order to move our hearts and inspire our imaginations. But in Donald J. Trump, we have greatness embodied, the real deal.
How do you make America Great again? You find someone who believes in that greatness with all his heart, and you use him to elicit the greatness that rests in the heart of the country, in the heart of the People. In doing so, a great man becomes the embodiment of the greatness of the country.
FractalizingIron...you have hit on something that I have been thinking about for quite awhile and you have so eloquently brought it out...PDJT leads by EXAMPLE, like all GREAT leaders and he gets people to believe in the "mission" and when it is put before others (US) it is a very great success...PDJT is LEADING BY EXAMPLE and NOT FROM BEHIND...A VERY BIG THANK YOU for that screed...
The difference between DJT and Stallone struck me. We tend to (tended to, were pushed to) venerate the 'celebrities', but in reality, they are not so great, not very great at all. Just people skilled in their area, but not even serving the community or state or nation, unless they do other things. DJT is not only serving the nation, but in that also serving the world.
But the difference between them struck me. I began to think, if I was God, how would I go about restoring the nation of America. Who or what would I look for. And the answer I got was, I would look for someone who believed in that thing I want for America, with their whole heart, and then use that to revive or revitalize that essence in the people and the country as a whole.
If you can find someone like that, then mobilize them, then they don't even think of leading by example. They simply become the embodiment. There may be moments when they think, "I have to do this". Like DJT realizing he wanted to stand up, let everyone know he was OK, and to shout Fight, Fight, Fight! to show he was not daunted.
This is a true example of public heart. He did that because he was thinking of everyone watching him, of them. Not for himself, but in that moment, his heart and thought was "how will this affect those people, those people who God loves (America) ?
In that moment, I believe he was a man of pure, unrefined unselfishness. And that heart in him inspired 1000, a hundred thousand to be like that, more.
Just to amplify what you are saying. With that heart, DJT is out there in front, yes indeed. Because HE believes in the mission. And belief begets belief.
To think all those decades I actually believed Arnold was the better actor, the better ‘hero’, on screen and in real life. I was misled. Sly was always portrayed in skits as low IQ, mumbling and incoherent. Only then, in recent years, I listened to his talks, thoughts, choice of words, his conservative values and saw his beautiful family. It is then I realised, this is the real life hero, the man. Not the other liberal ‘rino’, sellout trash who’s backed by the liberal propaganda machine. 👍🫶💒
i could never stand Arnold, ever. i know English is his second language, BUT it still sounds like Arnold has a speech impediment and i couldn't stand listening to him and him acting like his speech is screwed up because he's a foreigner.
now i know Stalone has a different kind of "accent", but i read the left side of his mouth was injured during birth by Dr's using forceps.
petty, i know, but Arnold was a loser from day one in my book.
The Sylvester Stallone I remember was pretty close to Obummer, even went on a big European apology tour. Really hope that’s the real Stallone. Be cool if he did a 180.
Saw his brother Frank in that docu about Trump several weeks ago. I loved Frank when he was on World's Dumbest, loves the USA and not Russia.😁I was surprised to see him in the docu but not after he told the story about Trump buying 200 books of his mother's back in the 90s when Jackie was selling a novel she had written. Apparently, they go way back.
I came here tonight
and I didn't know what to expect
I've seen a lot of people hatin me and
I didn't know what to feel about that
so I guess I didn't like you much
then either
During this fight,
I seen a lot of changing
The way yous felt about me
and the way I felt about you
In here there were 2 guys
killin each other, but I guess
thats better than 20 million
What I'm trying to say is
If I can change
and you can change
Everybody can change
Good speech, Sly.
Short, to the point, totally on point.
Kudos.

MAGA is well on its way.

Love the analogy...
I wish this happened at MSG
I wanted Trump to come out to MSG to Rocky's nusic and wearing the American flag...
Dang he must be wearing platform shoes? Trumps supposed to be 6’3 and Stallone is under 5’10
somethings definitely going on there. I didnt see their shoes maybe he has on a pair of kiss boots. or its not Rocky
The Sylvester Stallone I remember was pretty close to Obummer, even went on a big European apology tour. Really hope that’s the real Stallone. Be cool if he did a 180.
Legend.

"How many rounds did Rocky go before going for the KNOCK OUT round?"
None. He lost his first fight with Apollo Creed. Split decision.
Besides, Rocky managed to knock Apollo down in the first round.
Fabulous speech. I didn't realise Stallone was MAGA.
Donald J Trump man of destiny.
I dunno if you guys have watched Real Steel. This whole thing reminds me of the scene “Not yet, not yet”
I came here tonight and I didn't know what to expect I've seen a lot of people hatin me and I didn't know what to feel about that so I guess I didn't like you much then either During this fight, I seen a lot of changing The way yous felt about me and the way I felt about you In here there were 2 guys killin each other, but I guess thats better than 20 million What I'm trying to say is If I can change and you can change Everybody can change
That was concise and beautiful.
Words of truth from an American icon about the American saviour, and the saviour of the free world.
God bless Trump and Stallone.
2nd American Revolution!
I've always wanted to see Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Swartzenegger face off in the ring. That would be a fight for the century.
Love that guy!
I never watched a Rocky movie.
Adrian was like... You got to go back up there for a minute 😂
