It ain’t about how hard you hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward; how much you can take and keep moving forward.
So true.
This morning, I read a sermon by a pastor who fought Communism around the world during the 70's and 80's. This is what he said:
"There is a difference between the strategies of God and Satan. Satan's
strategy is to rob by force, while Heaven's strategy is to succeed by being
beaten. By being beaten, we get victory.
"You must understand the difference between God's strategy and Satan's strategy. God's strategy claims compensation for damages after being beaten; that is how God restores things. But Satan's world tries to claim the right of ownership by force."
How true is this? In crucifying Christ, Satan thought "aha, now I have the victory! I have murdered the Son of God, I have destroyed his body" but God and Jesus willingly took the blow, took the attack and absorbed it. In three days time, Jesus was victorious over all the realms of death, over all the power of Satanic force.
He took the blow and not only survived, but returned to reclaim God's children and open up the way of rebirth.
What is this "fighting communism" he spoke of? After the annihilation and ritual humiliation of Germany after WWII, communism won. The original communists were in charge during the Weimar era. Who were the communists? It's the same people that own every industry.
The Marxists and Communists began infiltrating the US shortly after WWII. All around the world, the Soviet Union was essentially fostering communist revolutions and driving ahead a global communist empire.
In the US, the infiltration was intense, and yet after the McCarthy era, American by and large went to sleep and the communists had a field day.
The pastor was calling out what everyone sees plain as day today. He was predicting that, if unchecked, the US would end up exactly where it is today. Very active in the 70's and 80's in the states.
It's about when you get hit so hard that you see a flash and your legs feel rubbery. Do you quit and take a knee? No, you dig deep inside your soul and find a way to win. This thing we call life is much the same way.

LET'S GOOOOO!
Trump - Eye of the Tiger by Survivor
That title quote is from the sixth movie in 2006, "Rocky Balboa," which everyone mocked Stallone for making--and then it came out.
It had NO RIGHT to be as great as it was.
It was successful enough to revive the franchise.
That movie is some of the most positive, uplifting fiction ever produced. Dark to light absolutely
Not to mention it is pretty much real life anime. The fight is beautiful
If only real-life boxing was like it was in those movies and not the corrupt hellscape it is in reality.
This is one reason UFC, and MMA in general, has grown so big. Sick of the corruption in boxing.
By the way, thanks, Dana White.
Yeah, and with UFC pretty much buying WWE the landscape of combat sports and combat sport based entertainment is definitely going to keep growing.
I hear you about boxing. I watched a lot of boxing in the 90s as a kid. I wish heavyweight boxing was still as popular
This is one of the reasons that Tyson will win tomorrow night.
Yes indeed…Everyone has a plan until they get hit in the face…Iron Mike Tyson

That quote is everything
The world will be known as Before Trump and After Trump. These are momentous times; God's hand is all over this.
Can't come soon enough
