Yep that is exactly what I was concerned about.weakens the liberals are over reacting viewpoint when they have validation. Why work so hard to trash 2025 then install this dude. I hope this is not valid. Makes the campaign look way underhanded
What? Please support that accusation. Support it with something actually from the Trump team. I have seen and heard statements where they want to eliminate useless government jobs. I am a MAGA supporter; does that make me an "acolyte"?
Project 2025 has always put out reports. Over 300 conservative groups/individuals have contributed their thoughts to it. Russ Vought is only one of them. This is the mainstream media freaking out about it Many of the 2025 directives make sense. Trump has his own plans.
This is part of the op. We know what President Trump is for & against. This news op is for them. Smoke them out or ammo of marxists to trigger their useful idiots.
Fire the thousands but don't replace them for a year. If we don't see serious ramifications from them being away from their jobs, don't rehire anyone to replace them. We have millions of gov't employee's that aren't necessary for the basic needs of the governed to be met.
After all we have been through, I am amazed at how agitated everyone is on this comment thread. One might think we lost the election instead of having a resounding win.
There is nothing wrong with seeing and reading the opposition's point of view on things. I would argue seeing the other's side is essential to our ability to discern. Being able to discern has proven to be one of the most essential skills we can all have.
Here are some facts (from my own personal recollection):
Trump has talked about Schedule F and the ability to fire federal workers for many years now. In fact, I believe he signed executive orders to streamline the firing during his first term. This was put on hold during the pause between 2020 and 2024.
The deep staters in DC, led by Paul Dans and the Heritage Foundation, wrote Project 2025, not Trump. They basically hijacked Trump's ideas, added a bunch of crazy ones to make it scary to people, and then the Media took it from there and fanned the flames of Project 2025's evils for months on end during the election.
If Trump does anything that is in "Project 2025" it is likely ideas he was going to implement anyways. Just because it is in Project 2025 doesn't mean Trump shouldn't implement it, especially if it was his idea, i.e. Schedule F, firing federal workers en mass.
If everyone freaks out about archive links of enemy articles, how are we to see both sides and understand the battlefield? How will we best prepare ourselves for the continued information warfare ahead?
Why are we bringing project 2025 into this?
I am confused.
I was thinking this as well. Not good optics AT ALL.
Did Trump say it himself or is this an unknown source?
It's from Media Matters.
Liberals on Reddit are already going: βwE tOLd YoU sO; Trumpf IS project 2025β

I was confused by the headline also then realized it's the article headline/byline......on Media Matters, lol. Why post Media Matters garbage?
We aren't, this is gossip from a shit hole company called media matters.
Not sure why this was stickied.
That figures.
The shift to "project 2025 good" has been pretty weird too, I gotta say.
At first it started with the memes, but suddenly people are actually on board with it.
"...replace them with MAGA acolytes"

Lol! Stop with the "project 2025" faggotry. Take that shit to reddit where they circle jerk that dry.
Be aware of what you read and where it comes from....

Why do you care what media matters says?
I don't care. That's why it is an archive link and not direct.
Why do we study the enemy? To win the war.
Fair.

Obviously you should have included this info in your title... or at least somewhere in the post.
Absolutely zero context given. Just straight up posting fake news... of course you got that reaction
Thanks fren. I'll do better next time.

Sounds like the Musk X model. Works for me!
MEDIA MATTERS IS THE ENEMY CAMP, HILLARY'S PET.
Correct. If they are mad, I am happy.
Trump better not have lied to us let alone everybody else
NbcNews too, with the only source as "a person familiar with the situation":
