I believe the birth of Jesus was September 11th, 3 BC;
Astronomical alignment in Virgo and Leo;
Jupiter crowning Regulus in the Lion of Judah;
Shepherds would be in the fields at the end of summer;
12/24/2 BC was the wise men visiting from Chaldea.
When looking at Jupiter as His star.
It rises in the East and moves East to South on a low ecliptic on the Winter Solstice.
This happens 12/24/2 BC pinned to Virgo.
It follows the description in Matthew.
No way a roman emperor would have a census when travelling was often impossible due to weather conditions in the area
Shepherds aren't pasturing at that time of year as others have said
The early church was fanatical about trying to reverse engineer the date in the 1st and 2nd centuries and they arrived at 12/25 with a lot of math but little logic.
There is also rampant speculation that it was done to coincide with Mithra worship which may or may not be accurate depending who you talk to. In a way it would make sense as the church became the state religion so ppl could continue to celebrate when they already did
Christmas is a holiday started by a Christian and former pagan. Emperor Constantine used December 25 as Christmas to offset the pagan holiday of Solace. The early evidence shows that it wasn't until the late 2nd Century that people started trying to figure out what date Jesus was born. By 336 AD, the emperor Constantine established December 25 as the date Christians celebrate Christ's birth. He didn't choose a random date. Christians had discussed various dates for this celebration, and December 25 must have become an established precedent for quite some time beforehand. Constantine often chose the most widely attested viewpoint since it would receive the most minor controversy. Andrew McGowan's article "How December 25 Became Christmas" is excellent and helpful for a deeper dive into this question. Most, if not all, traditions of current-day Christmas traditions come from England and Germany. The Traditions are based on the writings of Charles Dickens. Americans, as always, take things bigger. More presents more extensive light displays. But that is the American tradition part of Christmas. Read a book, and you will know the real truth Satan is telling these people. It is a Pagan holiday. Do not fall for Satan's lies.
It is modern tradition to support Jesus' birth and celebrate Him on Dec 25.
It doesn't matter the actual date of Jesus' birth as long as we celebrate Jesus ...and everything is setup to do it on Dec 25
No, we are not celebrating pagans but we are ignoring them and covering their solstice with worship of Jesus and celebrating His birth at this time .
We have sometimes because of distractions or convenience celebrated my birthday or my kids birthday on days after or before when we all can make time. Christmas is no different.
Love Heiser! RIP:
I concur;

It might have been that year but it needs to be tied a better and more reliable manner of pronouncements ie a solstice or equinox, such as the Dead Sea Scroll calendar.
Merry Christmas - because whether you celebrate it or not is irrelevant. The day comes and goes either way... and if you're offended that I wish you merriment on that day, then you might just be a miserable person.
Jesus is the answer to everything.
The message is Christ birth. The true date is Sept 11.
Well it certainly wasn't Dec 25th - shepherds wouldn't be watching their flocks in open fields that time of year.

Wow Thank you for all these details How do you know that the 24th was the wise men's visit?

I lean toward April Aries the Ram. The Ram was the sacrifice in scripture.
Probably true. It is near Passover, Ares, and the chosen people were freed from bondage!
Back in those days the constellations was the calendar.
maybe in Australia not in Judea
I'm not doubting you but you can't be sure of this
Also logically it Def wasn't 12/25.

Nobody really knows the exact date. I’ll stick with the early Church tradition. Merry Christmas.
Yeah it doesn't matter really so I get that! 😊
numerous pagan winter solstice celebrations across the continent.

That might be historically correct and all, but Pagans have nothing to do with Satan.
There is only God or satan, Jesus said we either love one or the other.
Michael Heiser claims to have narrowed it down via astrological description in Revelation

September 29 I believe Chuck Missler stated. But certainly around these times.

Beautiful. Tears streaming down my face. I am filled with hope.
So who did this?
The Mormon Church.
"T'werent Mormons!" 🤣
J/k but seriously they're masonic to the core. Still nice but I can't trust them
I’m a former Mormon. There’s nobody I trust more than the rank and file Mormons. I live in the safest city in the country right here in Utah.
It's the higher ups and the weirdness of the overall religion I can't get past
Yeah I don’t get that. I don’t believe in it but it’s no more “weird” to me than any other religion. Every religion has its things.
You misspelled whitest.
It’s that too.
Wow.
This was beautiful! So happy to watch the faces of the people.
Merry Christmas - because whether you celebrate it or not is irrelevant. The day comes and goes either way... and if you're offended that I wish you merriment on that day, then you might just be a miserable person.
Just the type in dire need of merriment.
Magical
Wow.
Merry Christmas.
Fabulous! Look how enchanted the people are!
truly breathtaking to see the culture reasserting itself so aggressively.
White Hats.
I bet this rustled the jimmies of the crypto jews
