I would like to let my guard down, and am praying for a peaceful Jan 20. But 2 weeks is a long time when crazy is in charge - I cant help myself thinking old Joe and company will cause some kind of emergency to keep it from happening. I celebrate victories like today and pray a lot.

Kamala never gaveled close the dissolution of the joint session. This is significant and highly unusual. She stated its dissolution, but the gavel wasn’t struck.
Interesting. Rewatched it and you're right. She picked it up and moved it, but no strike. There's even people telling her she needs to do that last little dissolution part before she can leave the podium.
