Yep, I will have the nervous shits until he is sworn in. Even then. Remember that the Trumps didn't move in for months after 20 Jan 2017. They found devices capable of great harm hidden in the West Wing. Max demo ensued with TSCM deployed. Don't be surprised if Trump makes it to 20 Jan that they don't immediately move into the WH.
Oh yeah, I remember. Must be why they closed off that road beside Mar-A-Lago. I hate to wish eight days away but, dang I wish it were over and done already.
G. Washington was inaugurated Apr. 30, 1789, soon Congress set the inauguration date for March 4, and then the 12th Amendment set March 4th as the date
I am glad you asked this question. In 1849 according to this article, there’s a plaque that says Congressman David Rice Archison was president 1 day as Zachary Taylor did not take the oath of office March 4! However, Archison’s Senate term ended at the same time Taylor was supposed to take the oath of office as president. https://www.whitehousehistory.org/the-origins-of-the-march-4-inauguration
A different member of Congress could have served for a day, but it looks like no one served as president for about 24 hours.
I have a feeling something major is going to happen at that rally. Or at the very least the same time the rally is taking place.

Gold was found in the walls as I recall.
What rally?
His Make America Great Again Victory rally, January 19, 2025, the day before the inauguration.
Do you know where you heard of this? I checked his events page and there's nothing there.

When it was announced I RSVP'd for two tickets, the confirmation email came from "Events - T47 Inaugural" if that helps.
