In line before me were two very dark skinned young men buying two .45 handguns - they said in very broken English they wanted as many as they could buy. I think the law here was only two each. It's easy to confuse C4 with other mundane stuff. It smells very much like a roll of Scotch tape, and the longer it sits in one space, the more that smell permeates that space. My dog—one of the best sniffers in the entire Pacific—had to learn the difference between the two while training to prevent false alerts. This was no easy task for the dog or handler.
