I'm not for that. I don't want more government intrusion into our everyday lives. The government needs ro secure the borders as every society has done for the 6000+ years since God created this place. Whether it be the borders of their home, village, city etc....
Hell no.
Sorry, bad idea. Free Americans have always been opposed to having to carry an ID "proving" that they are free Americans. An ID was snuck in through the backdoor by way of the social security number like all freedom limiting measures have been. When first created the promise was made that the SS# would never be used as a national ID (like the income tax was temporary, school children will only ever need 3 shots, etc.). Try telling a financial institute that your SS# is private. Try telling your doctor, or even the power company. The SS# is a de facto national ID. Now we have Real ID on our driving licenses even if we didn't ask for it. What did Q say, protect your DNA? We're creeping ever closer to this ultimate ID.
I lived in China for a couple of years before the social credit system. Citizens were always having to show their national ID. It's like having to prove that your not a criminal to do anything. I had to keep my US passport with me whenever I had to do anything the least bit "official".
My SS card says for use only by the SSAdmin.
My passport is adequate
Yes but every organization uses it as a valid form of ID.
Just cause they do doesn’t mean they should.
Don’t we already have this in the little yellow star called the Real Id?
They've tried this and were soundly rejected many times under different program names. Depending on which state you live in, your current drivers license provides almost everything you're looking for. It seems like people are okay with this at the state lever, but not at the federal level. Which I totally understand.
I know you think it's a good idea. Please think about human nature. Toll booths were a temporary fix for Illinois corruption. My father told me in the 70s, son those tollbooths will never be gone. They will be there forever. 50 years later. They are permanently in place and other states have adopted the stealing of peoples money. So a temporary ID card in a free land is bull shit. Their is nothing government loves is to make more laws and regulation. The county of Lambo Field enacted a temporary 2% tax increase to pay for a billionaires new stadium. It was to last 5 years. Guess what, it's now permanently in place. Their reasoning. We can do alot of good with this money. Ass clowns, never give government a free ride it will become your shackles and strangel you. I have garbage can tax, fire hydrant tax, AND FUCKING WHEEL TAX. I have to pay 30 dollars for every wheel on my car. Average home has two cars and eight wheels. That's an additional 240.00 in registration fees every year. And the roads are still shit. No, no more temperay identification cards. It just an excuse to train you into accepting more regulations.
Called a passport, ( they make cards too). Could be a driver’s license if we force states to identify who is lawful resident alien, and maybe not issue at all to illegal aliens. Let’s make it happen
How about NO.
Maybe not the other stuff you mentioned, but an ID...
Isn't this the same as the new driver's license we have to get with a STAR on it? I still have to get mine, been putting it off.
Not everyone has birth certificate.
Either / or option is better
What were they hatched? It is sheer laziness if you don't have a birth certificate. Oh, wait, maybe you are implying that people of color are too stupid to get one?
You might want to look into Soverign citizenship before you assume bith certificates are “required”.
