Watching this POS stagger up to the democrats, shaking their hands whilst ignoring JD who got the job done was a staggering display.
He needs to pay kicking him out would be a nice way to end him.

Possibly and yes.
Yes, they should get rid of him and there are many avenues to lose him his constituency.
Be patient. The roads that lead to Rome were paved one brick at a time, Fren.
do it
Kentucky has a Dem governor who will appoint a Dem replacement. Lesser of two evils is still evil but better the devil you know...
Good news, the law was changed in Kentucky in 2021. If McConnell “vacates” his seat, the governor must choose one of three candidates presented to him by the KY Republican Party as a temporary placeholder. Afterwards a special election would be held to find his permanent replacement.
If this is true for a "step-down" and not just for a death, this is big.
Thanks as a non American I don't have the knowledge of the system so much appreciated. But I know enough to hate traitors, they are universal.
Exactly, they still got the confirmation. Toss up states are a real concern and the important thing is getting their votes when it's actually required to get the win. It's a game and without those 3 Republicans we wouldn't hold the majority and control of the committees
Yes. He is beneath shit on a shoe. And hopefully once gone his blackmailers will release the pedo stuff they have on him.
The Turtle and his Chinese wife (handler?) needs to GO
Also why is it you never see a Dem go rogue when they get old and senile? No-name... McConnell...
She isn't up for reelection until 2027 for a 2028 term. C'mon Alaska - kill the ranked-choice-voting in a referendum and find a real senate candidate. Hell - go get a grocery store bagger and they would be better.
i know several that would be !
No. They need numbers to control the Senate.
Thinking they’re going to McCain him along with Pelosi and Biden
He's part of the old way of thinking in gov't that doesn't know that way of doing things no longer exists. I'm sure he'll figure it out in a few months.
He's a boat anchor on a ship that has a huge amount of power to just drag it along the sea floor.
I’m not sure he’ll even make it through his term. He’s got so many health issues
Maybe he is being saved for later exposure for selling out to China - i.e. 2 birds, 1 stone
NO. Not until KY has a republican governor, or Cocaine Mitch is up for reelection.
If we somehow force Mitch out, the DEM gov of KY gets to replace him and will do so with a full-on democrat. Mitch will still vote red sometimes (like he did for Kristi Noem for DHS).
Thune needs to neutralize Mitch by removing him from all committees. Then we have to wait until his next election or he strokes out and dies. That would prompt a special election.
The good news is - his term ends on 1/3/2027. There are a LOT of senators that should be primaried in the 2026 election.
Here is the list of all senators for that round:
https://www.senate.gov/senators/Class_II.htm
People in those states need to get to work now. Kentucky, Maine, South Carolina - looking at you. There are more on the rep side but these are the most important. The dem side is full of them.
Agreed! As much as I'd like to see Sen. Rand Paul be the senior senator of KY, not until the governor is a Republican or a Libertarian do I want Mitch out.
As per my above comment, KY law changed in 2021 and the governor has to choose from three people selected by the KY Republican Party. The law was basically changed with McConnell in mind (it was basically his idea).
I saw and responded to that after I did my first comment.
Here is what you should have posted:
https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/record/24rs/hb622.html#:~:text=Amend%20KRS%20118.720%20to%20require,in%20the%20office%20of%20United
After the 2021 bill to which you referred passed, the gov said he likely would not honor it because it was an unconstitutional restriction on the governor's power. A new, more reasonable one was introduced in Feb of 2024 that forces the same treatment as currently happens with a representative that steps down or dies. The bill was popular, passed both houses, and was of course vetoed by the dem gov. Both houses ended up overriding the veto and it was passed to the SoS as law 3 days after the veto was overridden.
Note - the procedures for replacing a representative versus a senator were different because before the 17th Amendment the governors chose them for their states. After the 17th, the people vote for their senators just like their representatives. I'm not a fan of the 17th because it would be far easier to remove senators by electing the right governor than it is to overcome lobbyists, cheating, and machine/mail-in voting scams.
Bill is here: https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/recorddocuments/bill/24RS/hb622/bill.pdf
It requires a special election. It does not allow selecting 3 people from the republican party. That 2021 bill was idiotic, and I don't believe it could be found constitutional. Hence HB 622 in 2024.
Q1: idk.
Q2: HELL YEAH.
It wouldn't be enough for me. I want his puppet strings laid bare for all Americans to see.
Out of the party does nothing. They need to figure out a way to recall him from his Senate position. I think those are different based on the state. I have no idea if they can do this from Kentucky.
What MAGA should do is a deep dive into McConnell's wife and her connections to the CCP. Then start looking at the companies involved, the money that changed hands and who got what. There's meat on that bone to chew on. Find enough and move it to the top of the news feed. McConnell will slither away on his own.
I agree with you that Mitch is a reptile, but he's a turtle, not a snake.
Idk but absolutely Y E S !!!!!!
It's difficult to remove a senator. There's no equivalent to the 25th amendment for Presidents and physical/mental impairment would be the most obvious road (if it were possible) to travel down in removing McConnell.
In terms of removing him from the party, not sure what good that would do at this point. They could remove him from his committee assignments which would be a nice start since two of them are rather powerful (Appropriations & Rules and Administration). That would probably be the most useful step in neutering him.
The problem is that he'll carry weight with other Uniparty Republican Senators no matter what.
With apologies to Kentucky patriots on this board, the people of Kentucky should have removed that corrupt bastard many election cycles ago.
Because he will no doubt (health willing) spend the final two years of his term doing everything possible to undermine President Trump's agenda.
Not unless his constituents recall him or vote him out. Or if he is impeached and expelled.
