That's the same argument I use against the term 'populist' as a swear-word. Populists are the very definition of fair elections, TBH.
But any writer will criticize the repeat of an epiphet five times (The four-letter N-word) in one little paragraph. It's almost like yelling, or brainwashing or something. It certainly isn't rhetorical, as the advice, for rhetorial speech, is to only repeat a concept three times, unless one really wants to drive a point home, and then it should be in a more verbose speech, not one little paragraph.
