For the sake of being as factual as reasonable, I'm often splitting hair about numbers and percentages and whatnot, however, 1% of 14,000 is 140. 294 is just over 2%. Still a huge reduction.

Before we might be celebrating throwing the Baby out with the Bath Water. Can anyone please confirm if USAID was buying food from American Farmers? It seems to be a lefty talking point and I'd like to see it proven false.
If that's true, it might be that the remaining 294 staffers will be tasked with (among a few other things, surely) keeping that program going.
Either way, I believe Trump will see that American farmers are taken care of. He's done it before and is doing it NOW by getting water to California.
The sooner it's proven wrong, the sooner it goes away.

14,000 is insane! And 294 is still a pretty large amount of people. I’m sure it could be reduced to 100 people and function just fine. If they can’t work with those numbers then maybe they shouldn’t be working at all.
I’d love that number to be reduced to zero actually. Let me opt-in or opt-out of sending any aid to anyone but myself first.
