Kash maybe there to shut it down. He may not have two jobs for very long at all.
I suspect the ATF's responsibilities really lie with the FBI anyway. Some personnel can be rolled in, and the rest can be cut loose.
Neither should the FBI. The constitution never delegated police powers to the federal government. The U.S. Marshal Service was the closest thing to police powers authorized.

I believe Trump said he offered Flynn several jobs in this administration and was turned down.
The general is 70 and spent his career serving. He deserves to stand down if that's his choice, although I'll admit to being disappointed.

The ATF can't be "cleaned up" or "straightened out." It's an unconstitutional entity that should have never existed to begin with.

The fed.gov has 17 intelligence/LE agencies. Do we really need 17?
We really only need 2, 1 domestic as LE, and one spy agency able to share intelligence to detect foreign influence/infiltration.
