Ukraine will elect a new President who will make the deal with us, we will work with Russia and they will do their deal with us, and a peace treaty will be signed.
Our people (non-military) will be used to protect the peace on both sides. Russia won't bomb Ukraine if our people are there mining minerals, and the same goes for Ukraine if our people are in Russia doing the same. If our people don't do that, some small country like Norway or Sweden - or God forbid the UN - will be peacekeepers.
