I hear you! I mostly agree! But that does not explain the mess of the dud drop and the way it was handled. That is what has people pissed. They built it up and laid an egg. There was even talk of arrests after the drop! The messaging was a amateur.
I remember Trump stating he would release the JFK files in his first 4 years. And then he didn’t. Me thinks that even he is mindful of protecting certain groups of people.

What you call the dud drop might have actually been very fruitful. We just don't know its true purpose or its intended audience.
