Is it true that quercetin does the same thing, at what dose? Does fenben need the zinc or quercetin as well? I am starting fenben now (previous long term familiarity with ivermectin ...wonderful stuff... but I have not seen reference to zinc or quercetin and fenben. Thank you everyone

It is my understanding that the zinc ionophores are only needed to give zinc the ability to enter the cell. The two most common used zinc ionophores are quercetin, and curcumin.
I have kept several articles on the use of fenbendazole for cancer, and none of those I have found indicate that zinc is required with the use of fenbendazole. I have seen the recommendation to take Tudca (a bile salt) and a liposomal multivitamin with fenben.
Right.. it's the zinc that we want getting into infected and at risk cells via an ionophore...like a zinc taxi. Viruses cannot thrive in a cell with high zinc concentrations.
As an aside, Quercetin is an OTC substitute for Hydroxychloroquine. Both act as ionophores.
Thank you all!
This article says that Quercetin is the ionophore that helps zinc get inside the cells. https://maoi.org/health/quercetin-and-zinc-benefits/#:~:text=Quercetin%20acts%20as%20a%20zinc%20ionophore%2C%20facilitating%20the,a%20crucial%20role%20in%20maintaining%20immune%20system%20function.
According to Dr. Zelenko, both Ivermectin and quercetin are zinc ionophores that allow zinc into the cell. That is what kills the virus. I'm not sure if that is how cancer cells are also killed.
A zinc supplement necessary then; that is my take. It is very nauseating for me, tho. Wondering how to get enough (which is how much?) Without taking a zinc pill.
It was my understanding that Ivermectin is a stand alone drug and that HCQ & Quercetin both need the Zinc supplement to work. Not a doctor.
Zinc interferes with the replication of certain respiratory viruses, but it has to get into the cell in order to do this, and it cannot get into most cells on its own. It needs a zinc ionophore to 'open the door' through the cell membrane for it so that it can enter the cell. There are over a hundred known zinc ionophores, including quercetin, hydroxychloroquine (HCQ), and black cumin seed oil. Someone posted a massive list of zinc ionophores here on GAW a couple of years ago, you should be able to search and find it.
You should take 50 mg of zinc daily, but take it with a zinc ionophore or the zinc is worthless.
From what I've read, neither ivermectin or fenbendazole require ionophores to enter cells. Ivermectin seems to target as many as 10+ different metabolic pathways in cancer cells in ways that are harmful to the cancer cells, and fenbendazole seems to target and disrupt the microtubules that provide structure and support to many types of cancer cells.
I am not a doctor either.

I'm sure that you can find other formulations of zinc, but I imagine they're all oral and will probably cause you the same nausea. Try searching for zinc supplements on Amazon.
On an empty stomach, zinc gets me nauseous too,
I eat a meal, then take the lemon flavored under the tongue zinc:
Bronson Zinc Lozenges Antioxidant & Immune Support Supplement Lemon Flavored, 180 Chewable Tablets
To further complicate this, zinc supplements should be balanced with a copper supplement. Zinc supplementation can deplete copper levels.

I have read several times to take fenben with nice fatty food and vitamin E so that’s what I do. I also take Tudca with it to help the liver.
vitamin B comnplex with 12 helps to push vitamins into the liver as well....
