I am wondering if this isn't some sort of comm revolving around NATO? Maybe there isn't enough money in their government (see waste) to fund their fair share of NATO, or maybe it is a comm about not cutting back food/social services to meed their agreed amount?

I have a soft spot for Finland because I'm Finnish-American, but yeah, they're a small country across the Atlantic Ocean. Why would they ship eggs here? Doesn't seem cost-effective and worth it logistically.

6 months to develop their reproductive system and begin laying eggs. Some larger breeds closer to 8 months, like Bielfelders. They'll lay for 3-4 years before that's it.

Chickens have a short, fast life cycle. It doesn't take but a few months for a chick to start laying eggs. This problem will solve itself shortly.

They just started laying good this week... getting like 2 dozen a day.
