Soooooo, what's going to happen to their database? It seems like that thing would be so valuable that it would nearly be impossible to go bankrupt. Unless it never was a business after all, just a massive honey pot for DNA data.

Where the money went? Who has received cash / sold their stock during that time?
Time for a whistleblower to leak out loads of those internal emails and other communications, perhaps disclose what they actually did with that data, who they sold it to, etcetera. Let the people who thought that, "Gosh, wouldn't it be nice to give some schmucks our DNA so we can discover our ancestry" be made aware of what evil minions actually do with one's DNA once they get they grubby little hands on it.
