I've never been able to figure out what's in the top left corner. To me, it looks like a face, and below that looks like some type of shield...the lightning strike is what separates the two.
I sort of see maybe a Walmart smiley on the the side of a building extending up from the face to a lightening lighted rubble wall.Sheild seems elongated.
I didn't zoom in enough, I can easily see the walmart smiley face now. This must be "The Watchmen" reference we get, as this was the logo for The Comedian. Going off of this, I can also still see the face in the top left corner, I wonder if that's another character reference, such as Dr. Manhattan? Or maybe even our "other" frens helping us out.
