You may not be aware, but Steve Hayward, who did the series since forever, stopped a few weeks back. (his last input/article at www.powerlineblog.com was on March 10)
The new guy indicated he's trying to fill Steve's shoes. Not sure if Hayward is on sabbatical, ill, retired or just moved on. The new guy clearly isn't of the same quality/knowhow (yet) but I agree, this week was the best he's done so far.
I'm hoping he continues to improve. This one was good, even if still a bit short.

I always like the babe with a firearm at the end, but please, no more women with tats. To an old guy like me it’s a ruination of near perfection that’s the equivalent of putting a mustache on the Mona Lisa.
The only thing that would make it even better is if the last picture could be an American MAGA girl. There is so much AI crap on insta and reddit that a good, REAL picture of a beautiful girl is rare

I've noticed an upward trend over the three weeks. Johnny boy might just turn out to be a dark horse. The race isn't over by any means.
