What about seniors with 401ks invested in the stock market? They depend on that money to live.

Bitcoins down much worse than either index, I wonder if they thought through that reply.
It’s decentralized and that means compared to fiat it’s much more difficult for greedy ass clowns to manipulate for their own gains.
In theory it’s borderless, so a hut dwelling Nigerian can buy it and it will hold its purchasing power regardless of what’s going on in the banana republic they live in. With that comes a whole lot of financial options that your average Nigerian spear chucker wouldn’t normally have available to them.

Exactly. People act like they have absolutely no idea that the stock market is a form of gambling.
People who refuse to go to casinos or play the lottery or play poker with their friends because they're morally opposed to gambling have no problem playing around with stocks.
People really make no sense to me. 🤷♀️

I think the "crash" is bring engineered in an attempt to get PDJT to back pedal on tariffs and make small investors panic sell. They did the same thing back in 2020 (covid plandemic was issue then but same playbook used) and everyone that put money at the bottom then is happy they did.
That includes my mother.
She said,she wants to see it burn down.
Alas, the general opinion around here seems to be "Who cares? They should have been investment wizards when they were younger."
