Because people don’t want things to start exploding with regularity. The sporadic explosions and underbelly of violence is more convenient because it allows people to bury their heads in the sand and pretend things aren’t happening or it’s one offs.

Ironically about 30 minutes NW from Philly there is a spot with a church, synagogue and Mosque all on same road right next to each other, at true melting pot community. What could go wrong?
This has happened at Franklin Park in South Sac over the past two years. The government or NGOs dropped off and housed a ton of derka derkas after the fall of Afghanistan. What used to be a rare sight, became common in 2023....I'd see them everywhere in their Arab dress. The scary ones were at the park recording large gatherings. On several occasions I warned parents that strange Arab men were recording their children playing soccer, nobody seemed to care (though they were Hispanic and may have had a language barrier) . One arab male at the park on a different occasion gave me what I can only describe as a "death stare" as in I felt he wanted to kill me. I returned the stare and it was if he caught himself blowing his cover.....he dropped the death stare and smiled and waved. I just maintained the intensity of my gaze and decided to cut my run early. With crime going through the roof, we had enough of the neighborhood in general and moved in 2024. We didnt even wait for the house to sell, but after it did, that's when the honor killings and beheadings started. Later in 2024, during the peak of the college Hama5 protests, I saw a group of five clearly Arab men in traditional Arab dress with Palestinian flag kaffiyehs and the green Hama5 headbands walking around the general vicinity of 9th and Broadway/X Street. These were not college kid larpers. Covid absolutely killed the local economy in this area and there are only a couple food places and mostly urban housing here with zero protest activity going on. In other words, it is my opinion that these five men were living in the area together and were "the real deal". I warned our Agency's security about the sighting and they didn't really care other than to say that they do read any Federal t3rror warnings. Deep in my soul, whenever the next big "t3rror" attack occurs, I know it will be orchestrated by the deep state and will include some part of Sacramento. I hope I'm wrong, but I've accepted that there is too much apathy about security and deterrence in our agencies right now. All I can do is stay vigilant and try to get out of the way, which I mostly did by moving.
