I would say bigger than Elvis. Need to be reminded as humans we all have clay feet. I'm not saying that in a mean way. I love Trump just as much as the next person. I just hope that people don't put him up on a pedestal. I think the Base knows this though. Gotta pretty good head on their shoulders.

Of course he is, but he is a great man. I don't think anyone is putting faith in him to save their eternal soul or anything like that. But they are putting faith in him to clean up corruption and strengthen the country.
It's kind of like, if somebody owns a company and they need task X done, they don't form a prayer group (at least not as their primary course of action). Instead, they hire someone who they think will be a good worker, and they put faith in that new employee to do the task.
After Trump survived that bullet to the ear, there's absolutely no way that he represents anything but the physical manifestation of the actual power of God on this earth, here, at this time.

People are grateful for good elected leaders all the time. God said in I Samuel that is the people along with their king (Saul) honor Him that he would bless them AND their king they chose (when they rejected Him). God blessed David's throne and in Romans 13 God wants the people to love and fear their good government as instituted by Him.
In 1Corinthians Paul is telling the newly converted Corinthians to hold fast even though soon he will castigate them for the sin they allowed to go on like a man sleeping with his father's wife. Wisdom of man is not necessarily talking about a man but the wisdom of the world which God says his foolishness is wiser than. And that it pleases Him through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who are being lost.
To be happy and grateful for a leader does not count as putting your faith in them - For Salvation. No one I know has replaced God with serving Trump and and worshipped him as someone who died for their sins and I believe Trump would be the first to tell them to cut that out.
