It's incredible to me, and it shows we are watching a movie. The whole carry-on is crazy. I live in Thailand, and a local bar I like to visit had its English manager arrested by the Thai Police last week. His crime? His Visa had run out, straight to jail, and then on a plane departed and was banned from the country for 10 years.
If his US and Brit friends had taken to the streets and burnt our host's flag, I doubt we would be alive; if the Locals didn't, the police would have.
