I had the same thought today. Trump called for the freedom of the Iranian / Persian people a long time ago! Implying, as I remember, overthrowing their tyrannical government.

I am an American with Persian heritage(Also German, English, French, Swiss heritage). I was born in the USA but lived in Iran for 4 years (we were evacuated in 1978). The country was embracing technology and capitalism and on the cusp of being on par with other western nations. They were just as westernized as many southern European countries at the time (Spain/Greece). They had a large white-collar class (that are largely all in the west right now) and would have been a staunch ally to the US and economic powerhouse today if the Mullahs never came to power.
They would have been fully westernized by now, with a population of well over 100 million people. And they would be friendly with Israel and the west.
I remember a revolution of sorts brewing in Iran during the early days of the Obama administration. Obama did nothing of course ... Likely at the behest of that monkeyfaced cunt Valerie Jarret.
Greater Israel. Israel will become the super power in the Middle East and shortly after the world. All of the Jewish leaders around the world will basically be emissaries to Israel. I'm ready for whatever, the Jews will take over and the real show stopper, the King of Kings, the Lord Jesus Christ will put an end to it.
Pre-revolution Iran was heavily tied to the CIA and instrumental in the founding of the Safari Club, and within a few years had a revolution. Now it's the primary funder of all these CIA paramilitary/terrorist organisations in the middle east that were started by the CIA. Iran is a Cabal state like North Korea.

You are correct. Iran was more or less a Western civilized country until the Ayatollah overran the government and installed themselves into power.
