Ditto. Peripheral edema. I've been dealing with mine with the help of a mild diuretic and krill oil supplements. Not the legs I used to have, but at least they don't look like I have elephantiasis. (Off the meds, they swell to the point where I can't wear any of my footwear. That is a serious problem in mobility.) Fortunately, he does a lot of walking around incidental to his activities.

I'm sure that plays a role in it. I was told that a cross country plane ride exposes you to as much radiation as a full body CT scan. Sitting during a flight for hours can cause ankles to swell.

Good info. Having your legs raised above the level of your heart (6-12 inches) also helps. A few times a day for 10-20 minutes if you can. Also raising one end of your bed so your feet are higher than heart helps while you sleep.
Aspirin is recommended as a preventative, but most sources say its not strong enough if a clot has formed.
I got spider veins on my legs. I work on my feet all day. Just adding to what you said. I sleep with my legs slightly elevated and it helps. I actually think itās comfortable too.

Yes! Berberine trashed my liver function tests and caused severe midsection pain. I discontinued it and my numbers went back to normal.
