I had to LOL when I saw the USA stat. C'mon people, we can do WAY better than that. I'm going to a gun show tomorrow to maybe add another one or two to my collection.
UK comes in at 5.1 per 100 people and I was shocked that it was so high. Nearly all of those will be shotguns or rimfires however - not many people own a centre-fire rifle and we have zero handguns.
That's about one gun per person, give or take, which means there is more than 400M guns in America. Not too shabby, but let's have the ammo, too. And some classes on gun targeting. We have to make sure we hit what we aim at. Don't need to spend multiple rounds when one will suffice, nicely.
If you are prepared for catastrophe, usually catastrophe will never happen. And if something does happen, it will only be, at worst, an emergency and not disaster. Because you are prepared.
I was actually surprised by the decent numbers in some European countries. Based on the news you get the impression they have zero. But perhaps military accounts for that. I also found myself thinking how many guns we sold or gave to many countries, who are not really our friends.
The Balkans have a lot of guns, particularly in Serbia and Montenegro, and the three Baltic States and Czechia have better CCW laws than a lot of US states...
Nordicks like to go hunting and sometimes Polar Bear defense. UK has a lot of shotguns, their hand gun laws are ripe.
Most of Europe is less anti-gun than most people (both Americans and Europeans) realize.
Cheapest rental shooting ranges I've found in Europe was in the Balkans (Kosovo or Montenegro I think) and you got the range time and gun rental for free and just paid €0.40 per round of handgun ammo, more for other types of firearm, not sure if you use your own guns. (Obviously still cheaper to shoot in the US, although I've seen worse prices buying ammo at ranges in the US)
Way to go USA! If it hadn’t been for the Q/Trump Team, we were likely going to need Plan D. Anything that makes the liberals tremble in fear is a good thing.
My household rule is more guns than people. Everyone needs a rifle and sidearm 🇺🇸
We have a long way to go before we have more guns than blades of grass.
Everybody is going to have to do their part, lest we make Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto a liar.
This. BTW I want a snake gun of the magnum .44 variety.
And those are the guns that weren't lost in an unfortunate boating accident.
😆

TBH, I think that stat is kinda low.
Fun fact: Amish can be seen at gun shows carrying 4x ar-15s at a time. They get the family volume discount.
Kewl, good for them.
I'm wondering if we have way more guns. Where do the statistics come from?
*guns that they know of per 100 people...

God Bless America!
Gotta get those numbers up people, c'mon!!!
That's probably the ONLY THING you can thank Obongo for.
Everyone I knew was stocking up...
The fly over states have a lot more than that.
Yes. It would be interesting to redo this video by US state. And then, by county in each state.
Once the census without illegals is completed the US number will probably triple.
This is an excellent start

Range amm9 alone gets ridiculous. Not uncommon to go through hundreds or thousands of round on range day, just depends on what your shooting.

BE PREPARED!

Those are rookie numbers for the United States.
Needless to say this statistic isn't counting the unregistered firearms.
