I was reading on X, a few people think Trump is organizing the arrest of a few people when they come back from summer break. Federalizing the police force and he said he is thinking about doing it in NY and Chicago. He is setting up for riot prevention because the shit is about to hit the fan. Storm incoming.

This Home Rule Act has to be renewed every 30 days and there are people who already planning to fight Trump's ability to renew it in 30 days.

2. Shift in law enforcement priorities – The Guard and federalized police will answer to a constitutional federal chain, not a city government embedded in the triad. – Over time, that means the types of operations they run change — less about controlling dissent for global optics, more about securing order in line with national directives.

3. Reduced foreign leverage over your daily life – Without automatic U.S. enforcement muscle, City of London–Vatican aligned policies have to come through persuasion or law, not raw force. – You’ll still see their influence in media and finance, but less in armed policy enforcement.

4. Opportunity for state and local sovereignty to grow – With the D.C. corporate model weakened, it’s harder to impose one-size-fits-all federalized mandates born in that framework. – States gain room to resist or ignore programs that once had an invisible hammer over them.

5. The breathing space effect – At first, life may not look different. Couple of questions. Before home rule, the congress and the president were the local government. This was 50 years ago. And the Pentagon is in Arlington. Fed land, like any other military base.
