I can back up the driveway with the mirror. When I was driving farm implements in the field I was fine going forward and around. But MAN, backing up an implement on a hitch!

I learned to drive on a car with the stick on the column. My Dad told me if you can drive this you can drive just about anything. We had a car with automatic transmission, but that's not the one I learned on. My first car had four on the floor, because yes, I was that cool.
I pull a trailer behind my truck every day. Backing a trailers is becoming a lost art, just like a manual transmission. We could start a boat ramp valet service and make a mint.
Probably with the help of drug dealers. Here in Florida I know the Mexicans are buying companies and bringing their trucks from Mexico. How’s that possible. People in America can’t compete with their prices.
This has been a long time slap in the face of honest reliable American Born who want to work. If Americans are buying what's in the Truck, Americans should be driving the truck. The push back should be wide and ferocious..
That's the problem of the company that hired the unqualified drivers. It's going to cost them more than just paying an American trucker to do the job in the first place.
It is SO nice to see common sense is making a YUGE comeback in this Country. Thank you Governor DeSantis for taking the lead on this. (from a 33 year Veteran of the trucking industry)
I noticed the friking illegals are not stopping when the traffic lights turn into red and cross the intersection anyway, you have to see the speed and the big trucks that they are driving. I am in Naples and they don’t care, where is the police?
I am very happy you are better, I agreed about your wife and you ( have to support each other) it is like my sister and I, her husband is not doing well, he got ammonia in his body so now his brain is not 100% well and definitely we need to be together because we have the bad feeling he is not well at all. In regards of your health, nothing is easy but with patience and perseverance everything is possible, remember leave everything to God. My dad used to watch John Wayne and I liked him too, you know TCM, one of his favorites old movies that impressed me a lot it is Gone with the wind, I really loved that movie, I didn’t like the ending though.
My husband was an OTR trucker for several years. He complained CONSTANTLY about the foreign truckers. They couldn't park, they didn't follow normal driving rules, they undercut independent drivers which made it difficult to earn a living wage. He would be ecstatic about them finally enforcing our laws.
