I disagree with this decision. Adding 600,000 military age Chinese to this migrant mess is not what we need.

To say nothing of the fact they'll be taking top spots from Americans. They certainly aren't going to the bottom colleges. This is not America First type policy.
I agree. Let the colleges go out of business if they can't get American students but to bring in 600,000 Chinese who are told to spy while they are here is absolutely ludicrous.

They are already here, legally, and paid for their education.
We still need intelligent people, AI isn't there yet. At least by allowing them in and knowing specifically who they are by limiting the number, it's easier to tell who may be committing espionage, and by being here it's more likely they will wind up benefitting the USA if they go into research firms, major innovations require unique brains, and getting unique brains is just a matter of numbers right now.
I don't think think the Chinese in general are innovative, nor do they have unique brains. What they do have is a genius for copying, and exploiting other's innovations.
Critical think more, I'd recommend looking up brain drain, and brain gain, and consider how this could benefit us, and affect China culturally in a way that we may consider positive.
All the Flynn's do is sow dissent and ferment frustration, doubt and discontent in the minds of trump supporters................................

Trump can't be the sole responsible party. We need to get used to demanding what we want our gov't to do. I think things like this are done on purpose for that very reason. To teach us to always be engaged and active.
