I have to quit my job few days ago because my boss created 2 domains on my name for profit and I found out when I saw my name all over the internet and then I look in Whois and positive he was the one who was the owner of the domains. Plus he was a bully and he reduced my hours and the job was a part time and no benefits. I am so upset because now I have to look for a job and I can’t put him as a reference. What should I do Purkiss?

Consider contacting a lawyer, using your name to sign up for things is likely a form of fraud and identity theft. Make sure you keep copies of the site registrations as evidence.

I have the evidence, the sad thing he was my boss. When I faced him last week he had the audacity to tell me that it was not illegal plus he told me he did it to his wife which is false but I told him to shut it down and he did it, but still in Whois as the owner of my name/domain not only one domain, 2 domains with first name and last name. I found out because someone told me that my name was all over the internet and I said why is happening this to me, two weeks ago I found out it was him, I told him that I wanted privacy probably he did it in a malicious way and for profiting but I send the opt out too a lot of companies and now my name disappeared. Thanks be to God. Now I don’t have reference or money. God bless you friend.

And how does 600,000 Chinese “students” that can graduate, get H1-B’s, get permanent status, and a fucking Green card HELP THE AMERICAN WORKER, ESPECIALLY THE MIDDLE CLASS?

Im guessing they will find it much much harder to stay.

And fewer student visas will be issued in the future.

That's pretty much the way Trump works.

Tell that to Americans who are impacted by the hundreds of thousands of Indians with horseshit H1-B docs, that CAN’T do the work, but are cheap, and are fucking here, regardless. I work with a bunch of these lackluster, sub-par “employees” who only hire their own and rely on Americans to bail their collective asses out. I’ve caught several using ChatGPT to do their tasks they should KNOW, but don’t.

I’m frankly tired of those like you with the bullshit attitude that we have to do better. The playing field isn’t level, nor is it fair. 600k people, and I expect this to continue or even increase, who shouldn’t be here will impact the young generations for a long time But you know this. And you spout that horseshit.

That trump pushed this is beyond belief. We’re the small hat tribes bitch, doing their bidding in war and us giving them money, and now CHYNA is going to have a leg up on Americans because they get preferential treatment.

America First has been a lie.

One thing that's frustrating me about Trump's cabinet is the jobs department.

They keep saying jobs drop jobs, but I have many friends and family, very qualified, that I'm at the lost her jobs or are having issues finding new jobs.

Add that into stagnant wages, home prices not budging, rent still high, groceries still expensive (top sirloin is still 3x the price it was pretty covid) and it's crappy situation all around.

This guy harping on jobs and wage growth getting better feels like Biden just gaslighting all of us.

I like Bessent, I think he's done great, but he's looking at the wrong data, or lying.

This is me. I can’t believe it. A private equity firm bought my former employer. They “restructured” and I was a part of the restructuring. Offered severance and bye-bye. It was 12 weeks yesterday, hundreds of applications submitted with only 4 in person interviews. Hundreds are applying for the same positions.

I am severely depressed. Interviewed for a part time position at $15 an hour this morning. I am desperate now and humbled. To top it off received a new tax assessment for my property taxes. Went from 300,000 to 520,000.00. My property taxes are already $5800 at the 300,000.

This economy personally for me is not good at all. No matter the “good news.”

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 2 ▼

No. Not really. Home prices are over valued. The stress of property taxes for most in my state is tremendous. I spoke with the treasurer and she has been fielding calls all day with residents who are upset about the 70 to 80 percent increase.

No. This only matters to those people with nomadic lifestyles. Some of us enjoy living where we are and do not care about the value of their home going up. It only makes a difference to people looking to sell. Make money by working not by liquidating assets.

You forgot to mention age/race/nationality/what college/industry of the job seeker.

IT? Pajeets locking that up. Health/personal care? Blacks in abundance. Gov't? Women hiring women. Over 40? See Gov't. Garbage haulers? Openings. Laborers? Openings. Bricklayers? Openings. Roughnecks? Openings.

I dunno about the rest of you, but I think there's a pattern emerging ....

Yes. I work in a field where, ten years ago, maybe 1-3 Indians. Now my entire team has expanding not only to 80% Indian, but also added and entire offshore team in India.

I do really like my Indian coworkers, they work, and the ones I work with are cool: they like guns, off roading, and are quiet and clean. The problem is, companies take advantage of them. Not just my company, but Indian bosses will take advantage of Indian workers. There's no "off hours", there's no "saying no.". It's basically golden handcuffs.

Add to that they're taking jobs from American citizens and it's hard to justify keeping massive amounts of H1B hires.

– DaddyStop 1 point 300 days ago +1 / -0

Correct. I work with ones that seem professional now but they'd roll my head in a second flat if they could increase their own pay doing so. I got fired from my last job over some complete horse shit by an Indian boss that was inserted above me. He fired every American on the team and told us the only hiring that could be done to backfill positions was to be done in India.

The H1B effectively nullifies constitutional rights. If the foreign worker makes a remark about something being unconstitutional, they risk losing their H1B and being deported. Then managers can use that to undermine Americans by threatening to replace them with H1B workers if they point something out as being unconstitutional. With the courts & lawyers as corrupt as they are, there's little chance of winning a lawsuit from either way.

In 2024, US cattle herd count hit its lowest point in 73 years. Tariffs have little to do with current price of beef or coffee.

Did you forget about the demonization of cow farts? There were incentives in the 2022 Inflation Reduction Act for ranchers to reduce methane emissions that many feared would become requirements in a couple years.

At a cost of $200 per head of cattle if this became law, ranchers scaled back to what they could afford out of pocket. Cattle feed, water, and fuel also skyrocketed in price. Ranchers can't afford as many cattle in those conditions.

Coffee crop also affected by drought. Prices will double on beans worldwide.

Eliminating taxes would be a start. I guess I am blessed that I have 2 jobs with how many Americans can't even find work. But last week a little over $1k of my pay went to taxes just so I can then pay sales tax again when I buy something.

In order to get workers, the GOVERNMENTS (federal, states and local) will need to cut lazy dolts off the money teat. No more money for ten babies. Mommy will have to go to work to afford the daycare for all those kids. Plus I really don't think Walmart will want to pay twenty bucks an hour for a shopping cart pusher. They want to keep their profits up, thus the only way to do so with higher wages is........higher prices on groceries and other goodies. So, in reality, you might make twenty bucks an hour but the groceries will take away that pay increase pretty quickly. Don't want to be a negative Nellie, it's just the way I'm seeing this play out. Think a $60K new car sounds like a lot, well when folks get that pay increase the auto manufacturers will certainly NOT reduce their prices to get a few sales, they will increase the cost to pay for all the overtime on the assembly line.

I question where these low IQ, skill-less pieces of pleasure bent, out of shape, 7 deadly sin sloths are going to work.

Despite job numbers, the market sucks dong for everyone... fast food not part of MANY lives now after c19, MAHA and the fact it's wicked expensive lately... plus add to the rescinded EBT will pay for a bucket of chicken...or bags of fudge rounds and it's not good

Where are these slugs going to work? Hopefully somewhere not customer facing...

I cringe at the thought of them working at some government infrastructure project... that's probably going to be coming down the pike.
