It's a broken system. I've been wondering why so much of medical education includes stress and sleep deprivation - is it by design to ensure the indoctrination of big pharma prescriptions?
Like most education in modern day it ultimately comes down to rote memorization. Which necessitates long hours drilling ultimately irrelevant information into your head.
Which traces its roots to what early public education was meant for. It was meant to Train Factory Workers, Clerks, and the assorted members of a rising middle class in an industrializing society. In how to operate and maintain their advanced society. Not necessarily advance it.
Also why bells are often used to signal switches between classes. Conditioning people to respond to shift-change bells.
The medical education system is nothing but memorization. Very little has critical thinking. They are like Chinese food places. 9nce you go to one, you have gone to all, only depends on how friendly they are.
I took nutrition in college. Its a bullshit curriculum. The teacher an actual healthcare professional gave me a c. Why? Because she claimed sugar doesnt make affect children. I did my term paper in the subject proving the data that says it does. I surveyed 100 parents and included the results of that. Some were fellow students. All 100 said that sugar definately changed their childs behavior to what we call hyper. Nutrition classes as they are currently suck. It all needs to be redone.
If you take pre-veterinary medicine classes, they will spend years telling you exactly what to feed each different kind of animal, large and small, and emphasize how much harm can be done by not feeding them correctly.
And they’ll be taught in a lab generously underwritten by Kraft and Nabisco. (I prefer my nutritional instruction from people out foraging pastures and woodlands. Of course, it’s all saturated by whatever they spray on us to manipulate the weather.) SO sad, what we’ve done with our gifts from God. Our health (temple) our environment, our society. Truly depressing.
Hopefully they also revamp the training for nutritionists. I've heard that they tell those with type 2 diabetes that it's just fine to go ahead and eat a lot of carbs every day. They might tell them to sprinkle a little fiber on their pop tarts, I'm not sure.
Been doing carnivore 2 years and I listen to many ketogenic doctors and interviews from patients. Type 2 diabetes, blood pressure issues, thyroid, stomach and bowel issues (I know, eat yer fiber-wrong). Healed by eating very low carb. Probably most would do better with just a real food diet except many have glyphosate and fiber is bad for stomach issues believe it or not.
They ALL complain that they were never taught any nutrition in med school.
Nutritionists actually get “eat the rainbow vegan” propaganda because it is funded by ……those same sacks of poop that want you triple boosted.
My daughter's husband is just finishing medical school, I asked him if they study nutrition and he said it was a big part of his first year, two full classes. He went to state school in Indiana.
That'll really be the day... when a DOCTOR does not tell a patient they need to avoid fatty meat and butter. You know. The two main things that feed the brain and prevent dementia. "You need statins to lower your cholesterol". (The brain is made of cholesterol) The absolutely scandalous ignorance of western medicine!!
Doctors DO take courses on nutrition, amounting to something like 20 hours or something insignificant during the entire 4 years of medical school.
By comparison, chiropractors and other doctors "of the healing arts", place nutrition at the core of their studies, as a wholistic approach and have hundreds of hours on nutrition during their 4 years of study.
I live in a poor rural area and 85% of the folks around here are obese. And, for some reason, very unnatractive. I hope this initiative will help me see fewer ugly fat people checking out a cart full of Mountain Dew at the grocery.
One problem that has gradually come to pass is the fact that our food no longer has the nutrients it used to have. This is because intensive agriculture production has depleted the soil of certain minerals that are essential to our health such as Boron. This has led to an epidemic of arthritis, teeth decay, and hormone imbalances.
If the farmer/producer never adds these trace minerals with their annual fertilizer application the food produced never contains these essential nutrients, so no matter how many apples a day you eat you never get enough to keep the doctor away.
Is there a way to change that? I know from experience that the farm fresh eggs here still cannot compare to those from what we called third world countries like Peru, or Chile. You can really tell the difference in taste and in the yolk.
I buy organic farm fresh eggs here, and it's a lot better than the store bought one but you cannot compare to those from third world countries.
Coming soon. I am sure.

I've always wondered about this.

Look into the Adventist system. They teach the truth even though they are a medical group also.
Their members are in the Blue Zone.

Yes, definitely. Even in Morocco they know this fact.
If you take pre-veterinary medicine classes, they will spend years telling you exactly what to feed each different kind of animal, large and small, and emphasize how much harm can be done by not feeding them correctly.
Yet for humans, it's barely even mentioned.
Huh.
It's all for a purpose. Genocide.

Just keep preaching and we might get there.

Sure hope not.
So im gonna need to find a new doctor in a few years lol. Or will current doctors need to go back to school lol.
They always have continuous study.
I had no idea. It sounds like it could be a refresher course correct? None the less, it would be a new topic for them.
No. They will need to really study.
About time!
Yes, definitely.

So carnivore diet and you are just super fit, correct?

Nice to hear. When people ask me about feeding dogs because I sell pet medicine, I always tell them not to feed kibble.
Dogs shouldn't eat any kind of packaged food.
Mine fed raw.
For existing doctors, how about mandatory training on nutrition or their licenses get removed.
Thinking that.
Bread and salt used to have iodine in it.
I like the taste of Himalayan Pink Salt. Taste good.
Drs get paid to push drugs. They won't push nutrition unless they are paid more to do that.
Don't go to those doc
It's diabolically incredible this is only now happening
Oh yeah. At least it's happening.

Bit of a misnomer...

Why I have a holistic doc
"That sounds just crazy enough to work!!!" 😀
amen.
Debunk. Yes.
Put Barbara O'Neill in charge of instructing them!
Oh yes, she is good.
Administration of common sense!
Amen.

Oh yeah, the sugary drinks.
