This is news to me! If this is accurate, which I have no reason to doubt, a good chunk of Canada is seeking to leave their confederation. It makes me think about how Trump went on so much about Canada joining the United States, which he has stopped doing.
Maybe, it was just so Canadian provinces knew that they have a landing place if they break away.
Their headlines look wild and inflammatory. Their channel description includes the following disclaimer:

I'd say to disregard anything from this channel that you can't independently verify.
I see a flood of videos like this in Canada. It's a lot of wishful thinking, as there are so many Albertans that are so afraid of Trump, they believe the US will gobble them up if they leave Canada. Having Pierre out there to further that view isn't going to help matters.
If you think the media in the US is bad, you need to check out the media in Canada. It's darn near all state run. Propagandized into oblivion.
I’m in Alberta, and it’s brewing, but there is still a hill to climb. This video is mis-titled, but if you listen to him, he says the spark has been lit. I’d agree with that. But there is no western Canadian initiative to secede. Another key point is that this is grass roots… don’t expect the provincial governments in BC, Sask, and Manitoba to recognize or support this.
In my opinion, Alberta is on the verge, and if things decline much further there will be a wave similar to Trump ‘16 or Brexit. Even with a ‘yes’ vote the Canadian government won’t allow it, even though they’re legally obligated to do so. It will be another fight. Having said that, once Alberta leaves, Sask will be right behind, and then maybe the territories. At this point it will be a choice between taking an economic lifeline from the U.S. or sticking with Canada and going down with the ship. Find the clip of Trump’s reaction to the statement “Canada isn’t for sale”. He knows exactly how this will play out.
I'd support this (I'm American). But I seriously don't want BC. Yes, I know -- there are some based people living in that province. But we don't need another California. And yes, I also know -- there are some based people living there, too.
I have been saying that this is a real possibility for over 20 years. Ever since I took the train ride from Vancouver to Calgary and talked to lots of Canadians along the way. Western Canada barely became part of Canada. It was finally cemented when the promised trans-Canada railroad was built. Trump reignited the smoldering flame. At the proper time, I would like Trump to talk about a $2T investment in the Western Provinces after they leave Canada.
I'm not Canadian, but I lived and worked there for a decade, Alberta and Saskatchewan have been more American than Canadian for years, and would make excellent additions to the USA. But not British Columbia.
I wish you would stop saying this BS we have not been attached to the crown since our independence was signed by Queen Elizabeth herself in 1992.
BC is a cesspool of liberals by the way. Alberta is a cesspool of muslims by the way. Saskatchewan is likely mostly native Indians and Manitoba is minus 40 most of the winter and plus 30-40 celcius during the summer which is 90-110 farenheight.
Contrary to the simplified graphic, Manitoba actually has quite a bit of frontage on Hudson's Bay. That could lead to some interesting extensions of U.S. territorial waters. It would also divide Canada into two chunks.
Wow! You couldn't be more inaccurate in your assessment of those 4 provinces if you tried. Have you even visited these places? It's people like you, spreading nonsense like this that gives the internet a bad name.
British Columbia, once you get outside of the lefty cesspools of the Greater Vancouver area and Victoria, is fairly conservative. Much like many states in the U.S, the metro areas control the political landscape.
Alberta, as of 2021, is 4.8% Muslim. Hardly a cesspool.
Saskatchewan, as of 2021, has a Native population of 17%. Again, hardly a cesspool.
Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Eastern Alberta share much of the same weather. There are roughly 2 weeks in a winter, in total, where the temps are -40c, or colder. Plus 40C heat in the summer is a rare occurence. As someone born and raised on the Canadian Prairies, as well as someone who works outside year-round, I can personally attest to what kind of weather we get.
As for Canada being released from the grip of the Crown, maybe you should look at this. It doesn't sound, to me, like we are free from the Crown.
If you don’t watch Matt Ehret (Canadian historian) on Badlands Media’s Breaking History show, you should. He brings the receipts on how Canada is not truly free of the Crown. He has been studying Canada’s history and is great at explaining it. He is also involved with Wexit.
Ok but they must NOT become blue states, obviously!! A little scary having any part of western Canada share a border currently with the abjectly hideous Washington hell hole of the PNW

Yes but that goes for any channel
This channel has taught me more about how Canadian politics work and where the country is headed than I had learned in all my prior decades
Fair enough. I was just going by a first impression. If you are familiar with them you're better equipped to judge.
cheers anon

Canada was never officially confederated.

Every single day on that same channel is another video like the one from the day before. Super helpful info on what's going on up north!
Poll numbers say Alberta and Sask are good to become 51st state and leave the liberals behind
I'd support this (I'm American). But I seriously don't want BC. Yes, I know -- there are some based people living in that province. But we don't need another California. And yes, I also know -- there are some based people living there, too.
BC is filled with Chinese and Sikhs. Alberta and SK would probably be decent additions.

The majority of the people in the US fully support this! The economic wind fall for us and the new country that will be formed will be immense.
I'm surprised by the range of reactions to this. I'd love to hear from more Canadians or those familiar with the situation on the ground!

They certainly don't have anywhere to go when it comes to their British compatriots. Great Britain is in a mess. I don't know if it can be salvaged.
Why would they stay attached tonthat cesspool of communist attached to the faux british crown.

OK but the money has the queen on it and King Charles is literally the king of Canada

They can be their own state, country or whatever but not the 51st. No thank you
