I've mentioned this before. They intentionally change the board up, short stock positions, and attempt the hostile takeover of a company in hopes of profiting greatly and quickly, as the public reacts to "woke" instead of seeing what they are really doing. Quite similar to how they did Gamestop.
Vulture capital sends in moles to destroy the business from the inside out, while their buddies are shorting the fuck outta the company.
They bankrupt it, and the shirts don't have to pay any taxes on their gains, meanwhile they destroyed a profitable company and ruined lives, just for a tax free buck.
Toys r us, red lobster, Joanne fabrics, party city, they tried to do it to GameStop but we caught on and stopped them from shorting it into bankruptcy.
We already knew. The corn bread was like hockey pucks. The staff bare bones. This is deliberate. A) the south loves them, the kids loved them and the parents loved them. B) they are sitting on prime real estate in practically every city in the south. C) Boards are taken over by radicals - think Kohls- formerly family owned and went public then has LGBTQ shit in the stores.
"- The biscuits are now all frozen days ahead of time
Same thing with the dumplings, “They'll produce like 8 pans of dumplings at a time and freeze them instead of having nice fresh dumplings cooked for you”
Meatloaf, It’s microwave now too. “Originally when I first started working there, I would make multiple for the day. Now they cook 8 to 12 to 15 a day and then bag them up like this for you and microwave it. Just a nice microplastic piece of meat. It's so gross”
Things like the fried apple, green beans, the pint beans, “They're bagged up at the end of the night and then you are probably getting a nice microwaved side as well with your nice microwave meatloaf”
Bacon doesn't touch a grill at Cracker Barrel. If you go to Cracker Barrel, you're getting baked bacon. All of it. You don't get a choice on how it's cooked
“You're spending money on microwave nothing. And it's all for the sake of the stockholders and the corporate side because they can't help but ruin the guest experience for their bottom line.”
The disgusting part is they are microwaving all this stuff in the plastic bags it’s so bad for your health. Now a days you have to eat at home or go to small mom and pop places for dinner. Forget going to these chains.
I see Sysco trucks at every restaurant, even the high end ones. It all comes from the same place... it's just what they do with the stuff that's delivered that's different.
So I guess what my point is, is that all restaurants do this. It's money saving, and if you want cheap restaurant food, they need to economize how they do things. Make it all in advance and heat it up. Has anyone noticed a difference in how it tastes? probably not.
I don't agree with heating things up in plastic bags, that is gross. However reheating things is kinda par for the course anymore.
People are so funny. If they want 'real' food lovingly prepared, they have to be in their own home or someone else who loves the people who are going to eat the food and will protect the safety of the food.
There really is no substitute for this. The alternative is food prepared in a convenient manner, in quantity, and quickly. Shut up and order the fucking food.
It almost makes you wonder if they want to take down all these businesses on purpose. Look what they did to Joann fabrics.
Blackrock really wants their properties and will ruin a brand to get them.

These vultures are disgusting
It’s so you will stay home and not have anywhere to shop or go out for…..15 minute cities in the making.

Is anyone REALLY surprised?

Exactly this. Chain food, unless it’s an open kitchen is just frozen slop, mass produced in a factory with ingredients bought by an accountant.
Good point. Restaurant meals cost a fortune AND are shitty food.
I haven't really ate out the last couple of years but the few times I have i felt like the quality of the food went off a cliff
Welcome to how "private equity" makes money

100% I have noticed the difference in taste. The shit is disgusting

The video starts with his hand over one eye. What are the odds?
I think they need a name change: "Bottom of the Cracker Barrel."
