I wish he would clarify. I had to give my girl infant Tylenol for very high fevers running 102.5 to 103.8 at 16 months with strep throat. First time she took it and pediatrics said that's what they give.
I feel so gutted that I listened to that when I pulled the plug on vaccines as a new parent and fighting with my husband he was pro vaccine and anti Tylenol.
What should we give for high dangerous fevers or pain from that kind of sore throat? Literally watching them suffer is heartbreaking.
Be really careful with high infant fevers. Mine hit over 105 and the hospital ended up giving me an ice bath - I was not even 2 years old. I had Strep that turned into Scarlet Fever. I ended up getting strep several times each year until I was around 16.
I was lucky my parents quickly caught on that my fever was abnormally high.
Don't be hard on yourself for giving Tylenol for a fever that high. If it goes much higher and left untreated it can lead to much worse results for your baby.
Will alternative medicine really bring a high fever like that down and how do we know those are safe? Some of the links for Chinese medicine people sent me, while I am sure are well meaning, I am not sure I trust those either.
I've done Epsom salt and baths for lower fevers as well as that Maddie cough balm on the feet....I don't think it helped her at all

Bah - I'm one of the people Trump is talking about. My mother took Tylenol while pregnant. As a result, in kindergarten they put me in special-ed. Then they realized they messed up bad when the early IQ test results came in and my results were off the charts. Reading at 6th grade level, math at 5th grade level and I was still 5 years old. They thought I was "retarded" because I wouldn't do macaroni pictures, wouldn't use the fat crayons or pencils, wouldn't take an afternoon nap, and wouldn't sit and listen to the stupid kid stories the teacher would read. She had no idea how to handle me.
Suddenly the school wanted to move me up to 3rd grade but my Mom wouldn't let them. So - they said I had ADHD and got the doctor to give me ritalin. Yay. Turns out, ritalin doesn't work when you don't have ADHD - it is basically meth of course, so it pretty much just kept me high and anxious. I took myself off of it at around 12 years old. I didn't have ADHD - it was just what they used to call Asperger's. Now they call it Autism, the spectrum, or ASD.
Anyway, I notice things like numbers, typos/missing letters, stuff that doesn't belong, patterns, and other anomalies. It comes in useful, although I can unknowingly (and not on purpose) "rub people the wrong way". I'm used to it.
Edit - it REALLY bothers me that my laptop keyboard has a bad "e" key. I end up editing out (or putting in) a bunch of extra or missing "e" letters in half of my comments. I type "thee" instead of "the" dozens of times a day. Ugh. I caught all but one here before editing it. Glad I'm not OCD.

I did this and my daughter came out fine. They don’t need all them shots all at once if you are ok with it. I know how some of you are on this site, but if you get vaccines, spread them out, just tell the doctor you can’t make and will be able to come in 3-4 weeks because life is hectic
interesting that this suggests that (even assuming vaccines to be ok) that overloading with vaccines all at once can be harmful (hence the insistence on taking them separately)
The second they said they were going to start combining flu and covid vaccines is when I put in an exemption for the flu shot with my employer. No one will ever tell me, “oh whoops, we gave you the wrong vaccine; you got the one with the covid vaccine added in!” Plus the flu vax made you 29% MORE likely to get the flu last year.
