Jesus saves. It’s real folks. If you are hurting. If you need something that sustains. That fulfills. That won’t ever change and always be with you. Help yourself, help your family. Seek a relationship with Jesus Christ today. Stop waiting for that moment. Some quiet opportunity. Just get started. Be bold. This fella today left his house, planning on not returning. His wife and three small kids. One is a baby. Today we heard just a tiny bit, and even the preacher starting getting emotional, as him and his family stood before the church, as he lead his family..himself and his wife after him, into the waters of baptism. I grabbed ahold of him afterwards and just held his hand. I know that darkness he was in. That battle. I’m wouldn’t be here right now if it wasn’t for the saving Grace of God. Thank you Jesus for never leaving us. As we wander lost, you were always there. Holding your hand out, we just have to reach out to you. It’s the win win people. Become victorious. You can truly win today. Right now. Because Jesus wins. God always wins.
Love y’all.
Praise The Lord! 🙌
Hallelujah
Good for him.
John 10:10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
God I love this verse. And then the lukewarm believers come in saying "it's a metaphor!!!"
Jesus was literally doing everything He did. It's a historical account.
God is good.
Amazing Grace...🎶🙏
Prayers up for him and his family.
The angels in heaven are rejoicing and the saints on earth are rejoicing over this.
You can mention to the man since through your retelling of his story that tomorrow morning, a small prayer group somewhere in Florida will be praying for him and his family. I don’t know his family but God does. And we will lift them up before the lord.
Will do friend. ❤️👍
Thanks for sharing this. Heaven is rejoicing!
Jesus can fix anything. God is very near and his thoughts toward each human are as the sands of the seashore innumerable.
GOD ALWAYS WINS
Jesus is King!
Soli Deo Gloria
The Spirit drags us through burning coals and thorny undergrowth- all the way to The Son on His Cross.
God is glory and Amen.
I can celebrate that. I had a friend that hung himself at 15. God help him.!
Oh no...💔🙏
"WHOEVER calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:13). "TO (ALL) that did receive Him, even to them that believe on His name, He gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood, nor the will of man, nor the will of the flesh, but of God" (John 1:12). From the least to the greatest, (ALL) are but one prayer away from salvation" God's heartfelt cry to mankind is "Come to me, (ALL) of you that are heavy laden and I will give you rest"
Beautiful experience Jesus saving grace has also saved my life. Long story, short answer. He conquered my drug and alcohol addiction! Love hearing other peoples stories of hope!!
Amen friend. ❤️😁
So you folks actually believe that a person got saved by getting immersed in water?
Kind of like going to a Catholic church and getting sprinkled with Holy water?
The church of Christ does that as well. No immersion no salvation.
Well he had accepted Jesus as his savior a few days ago before him and his family were baptized. He sat down with our pastor and discussed that, and then wanted to publicly make this statement. I understand that the acceptance is the most important, always is. But as he is able to be baptized, he did so. I’ve seen many discussions about this over time. And there have been those who were unable to be baptized because of their situation, like on a hospital bed or stuck underneath a building…something. And of course they can be saved and go to heaven, even right there at the end. But of course the baptism is very important as well, and if a person is able, and like the Ethiopian…the water is right there. Can a person be saved without being submerged in water? I say absolutely. But does this give a reason for those who are able, to not be? What’s the reason? Being shy? Don’t like crowds? Afraid of water? They need to understand this is a public admission of you accepting Jesus as Lord. The one who saved you. You now follow Christ. And Jesus himself was submerged. We follow Him. I figure once they hear this, and understand, the Holy Spirit does it’s thing. Conviction. You’re saved. Now continue the process, and the mission. To help guide others, we help show the way. And Jesus is the way.
