That's why I like Texas' 3-strikes, your OUT policy.
The Texas Three Strikes Law mandates highly enhanced penalties for criminals convicted of three felony offenses.
Once a person has two prior felony convictions, a third felony conviction triggers mandatory minimum sentencing, resulting in a prison term of 25 years to life.
This law applies regardless of the severity of the third offense, meaning even a felony DWI can lead to a life sentence if the defendant has two prior qualifying felony convictions. Each felony conviction counts as one "strike". Felony convictions from other states are also valid for the three-strikes enhancement.
The mandatory minimum sentence of 25 years cannot be reduced by a judge, although the court has discretion to set a sentence up to 99 years or life.
Where do Texas felons go after they have two strikes? They move to a different state and never come back to Texas.
That’s not clear: (1) he was arrested because he killed a toddler, then was released without bond, (2) or was released without bond because of something else, then took that poor kid’s life from his poor Mum?
Why don’t we just heliport it to the deep sea? At least he’ll feed some fish.
I think you need to exorcise the demons, then cremate the body, mix with concrete, form a brick, dip the brick in hot lead, then electroplate with gold, emboss a demon seal warning on it, and then bury the brick. Otherwise the fish could eat part of the demon and then a whale would eventually become filled with demon particles. We love whales we don't want demonwhales
OMG you guys just repeat and repeat without actually looking at something. He was not released at all. It said $0 bond and what that means is he cannot get out on a bond. They are not allowing a bond that is why it says 0. He cannot get out at all until after he goes to court if he is not convicted. People need to learn to read what they actually say.
Thanks for warning me, me and the missus were considering it as a potential spot to move to from London. Now I'll see if there is a safer part of NC to try.
You know eventually we grew to care more about the rights of the criminals over everyone else’s right to not deal with them.
At one time for instance. You hanged a man for stealing a Horse. What is a car but a Modern Horse? Not necessarily suggesting we go back to killing folks left right and center for every offense. Especially Given how often some of the offenses you hung a man for 150 years ago would in today’s world increasingly involve teenagers and children being the perpetrators.
But clearly something isn’t working anymore with how they are choosing to handle these people now. And the innocent people are dying for it.
Raeford appeared before a judge on Tuesday for his first court appearance. The judge granted him a $500,000 secured bond and an electronic ankle monitor. Additionally, he cannot have contact with the prosecuting witness.
That smirk on his face tells you all you need to know. He knows he’s getting out and knew it before he did his disgusting deed. We really need more “prison justice “.
Charlotte is in what is called the piedmont (flat land, hard clay). The Appalachians are around 90 miles away. I would prefer not defile the blue ridge parkway with that scum.
Look the other way. Did you see the lady in Portland and what she is saying about being a homeless and crimes? The police were told to look the other way if she is caught.

That's nice. I like that. Oregon used to be that too down to age 15.

Protect the criminals at all cost.

Lock him up and throw away the key. Enough.
Yes. Get the judge also.
He must be sleeping with the judge,or selling them drugs.

You can be released with no bond.
IT LITERALLY SAYS HE WAS RELEASED. thank you for your condescension as well it definitely makes for more constructive interactions
Blackmail?
It would make more sense.
F that. Hang him high
And the judges that kept releasing him!
If he killed a 3 year old kid, he needs to be swiftly executed, right after the judge who let him out.
I want the judge executed actually.
I live in Charlotte. I hate it here. City government is so dei and full of fraud.
Thanks for warning me, me and the missus were considering it as a potential spot to move to from London. Now I'll see if there is a safer part of NC to try.
Hopefully with no cheating on voting, it would change. Pray.

It's such a sick world. I just hope Jesus returned soon.

Did we forced them to do that? I wondered.

We need the judges to be replaced.
Closer to the mountains the less diverse it gets.
That's part of the Appalachians, right? He can be disappeared.

I got you. Understand.
This is why black crime stats are kind of miss leading. It’s the same idiots causing all the crime!!!
This keep getting released over and over again!

Yes..
It’s so ridiculous!
This cannot go on.
Charlotte NC needs to
There's quite a few places that need this particular treatment.
Time to hit the soft hearted judiciary hard and repeatedly. Time to get the other villains off the bench.
Yes.
