About 200 years ago the first study Bible with footnotes explaining end times passages was published by the Rothschilds and was widely adopted by pastors and seminaries across the world. This was called the Schofield reference Bible. Unfortunately this Fringe view of end times quickly became the predominant position that is still held today by most Evangelical churches.
It's not what Christians traditionally believed for almost 2,000 years.

God wins down here. There's no rapture. Final judgment removes the wicked from the Earth just like in the days of Noah. Israel has no place in future fulfillment of prophecy. Revelation was about the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple in 70 AD by Rome's armies.

The spiritual interpretation of the book of Revelation makes the living prophecy relevant to the individual soul coming out of the Babylon spirit of this world. The book is simple. It's a kingdom change of the individual soul from the Adamic kingdom to the kingdom in Christ. That's the simplicity of the book.

Multiple scholars claim the book is written prior to 70 AD but I think the absolute biggest indicator personally is the fact that if revelation was written after the destruction of the temple and Jerusalem in 70AD then why doesn't it mention it?

It's a hard pill for the carnal trained Christian to swallow. The book of Revelation is written to Christians about Christians receiving the kingdom in Christ. It is the carnal Christian soul that worships the dragon and the beast.

The deception of Babylon comes off as true Christianity. The Holy Spirit leads the individual soul out of its deception. Jesus Christ makes war with the beast leading the Christian soul to be victorious over Babylon. The deceived don't yet see the leading of the Holy Spirit, so their religion keeps them subject to Babylon.
The spirit of the world is the dragon and the beast. As the Christian soul grows, it learns to follow the Holy Spirit. When the mind of Christ becomes the Christian soul's mind, the deceiver's hold is taken away, and the Christian conquers Babylon.
The victorious church in Christ is up to the task of making war with the beast. The book of Revelation is about that victorious church in Christ. The book of Revelation is written to the individual Christian soul, to encourage every Christian soul, to triumph over the dragon, the beast and the false prophet; and to reign with Jesus Christ in victory.
