have you seen the previews to the movie HIM? I won't watch that one and it is about football but pretty much sports and satan together from the preview. My theory is legally they have to tell the public and they do. the public is too stupid to realize. when they go to court they tell the judge it was told to the public.
The championship trophy is named the “Larry O’Brien” trophy after the commissioner who oversaw the NBA/ABA merger.
Larry O’Brien was in the motorcade when JFK was shot. He was in AF1 as LBJ was sworn in. He was on RFK’s team when RFK was assassinated. The NBA commissioner before him was named “J. Kennedy.”
Most suspiciously, he was deeply involved in Watergate as the DNC lawyer who helped send off Nixon, having found evidence of a $100,000 “bribe” from Howard Hughes that could have been legal but didn’t have all the i’s dotted and t’s crossed, and so was able to be classified as a “bribe”.
Imagine democrats being concerned about illegal campaign contributions. Good thing they don’t do that!
He was allegedly tied to the Irish Mafia, and seems to have been awarded his position as the commissioner of the NBA for his work in Watergate (by who?), though the ties probably predate him, as sports leagues historically had ties to mafia dating back to the 1800’s.
money laundering for the past few decades has never been so easy for them either. they are most likely super pissed off this is coming to an end. we are now going to be looking into race cars to nfl.
makes sense though.
whoever the one in charge of this thinks of themself (or collectively themselves) as the rulers of the USA and want to be in the light and they have been moving towards us kneeling to them.
we seen how many kneeling to blm just a few years ago?
the old mafia spirit would want to stay in the darkness, but the children of that generation might have an enormous power trip going in and they might of teamed up with the likes of china.
I know there is families and all that, but the past decade some kind of shift happened and maybe in both the light and the darkness Trump has group are kicking ass? hope so, but regardless what happens in the end of this decade going into the next, it is going to be exciting.
You are right about the Chinese connection. If there are vast sums of money to be made through organized crime networks, they are all in. They are often the shadow bankers that move that money around - all for a fee of course. That is why that CCP money connection is showing up everywhere.
*sports are "national pastimes" that build common interests, comradary and a default topic for conversation among people (family, friends, acquaintances and "enemies") - even those with whom no other common ground exists,
*sports provide a means by which to "escape" boring/everyday life,
*sports gives some "permission" to overimbibe, overeat, "vent" and act like unhinged lunatics,
*sports create (pseudo-real-life) heroes and villains (akin to those in childrens' stories) and the ability to live vicariously (root for and fight, win, lose, endure and persevere - on and off the playing field) through the sports players,
*to some, sports figures become akin to - or more well-liked/loved AND/OR better-known/more familiar than - family members or close friends,
*many people spend (i.e., waste) GROSSLY inordinate amounts of time and money on sports and sports-related things - watching, tickets/attending, merchandise, memorabilia, history, statistics, etc. - often to the detriment of personal/family relationships and well-being, and
*sports fans in general, but especially the most dedicated/"rabid" fans who've "invested" the most into sports, do NOT like being told that they may have been duped/fools for believing it and the characters (their heroes and/or villians) were real and wasting their time, money, other opportunities, relationships and/or well-being for a bunch of liars, fakes and grifters, and moreso because the lies, fakes and grifts for which they "fell" were INTENTIONALLY set up to target - and take advantage of - them. (In other words, they're experiencing [various stages of] grief, hurt feelings, disbelief, anger, frustration, humiliation and realization of the magnitude of the "costs" they may have incurred for an op/fallacy[/"nothing"].)
Nice breakdown. Nothing new under the sun. Roman elites used "the games" to distract citizens and slaves from the economic and governance problems of the empire. Seems to always work.
Personally I loved sports my whole life because of my love for competition. To challenge yourself against another. And my appreciation to watch top competitors. Participating in sports is also good for health and fitness, learning how to build relationships and be a teammate, persevere through obstacles, etc. Sports are an amazing thing. Pro sports right now are not about pure competition. Thats the problem.
Yeah I agree with all that, but somehow we need to break some of these sportsball fans free from theyr gay games and take some interest in doing something real like saving the country, being a better dad, etc
To correct the problem, the NBA should have no referees and no fouls for the rest of the season. Free-for-all blood sport basketball.
Their rating would skyrocket

Basically, late 1980s Detroit Pistons?
Tony Schiavone
The Mafia manipulating the outcome of Sports games? Talk about getting back to their heritage.
Next thing you’ll tell me is they’re back to bootlegging
and now growing weed too
The NFL is also doing a pretty convincing job of showing they are also into gambling and rigging games.
Merry Juana ...they have adapted.
Now do the NFL.
And College. I would bet (excuse the pun) it's even happening at the High School level.
Surely it is.
I'm convinced sports betting has taken over the NFL and impacts the scores

Nice dig. Thanks.
"Given what we found out yesterday about the mafia’s connection to the NBA, this sure sounds legit doesn’t it?
Yesterday’s arrests were just the tip of the iceberg…"

everything is pointing to that.
