Wow...I hadn't gotten that far in the article. Just verified in a couple of places and then shared. This judgement may now shut up our stupid AG in Michigan. She was crowing about how "she" defeated Trump.

Make the states use their funding and once it’s gone, submit for reimbursements. That’s how it’s supposed to work. The states have their funding for SNAP in their treasury.

I SOOO disagree with this. What's it going to take to make this illegal - one district judge in yankee land just decided? - he damn sure doesn't represent the rest of the entire country. Will it take a law passed by Congress to make this type ruling illegal?

I think what they mean is it shouldn't have to come down to SCOTUS unblocking what some random nobody state judge blocked in the first place.
The problem is that a single district judge thinks they have the right to dictate to the president what they MUST do. "MUST" pay SNAP. In this instance, the judge told the admin to pull $5 billion from the school lunch program to fund SNAP. So, children can go without lunch so lazy ass adults can continue grifting?
Similar to the judge that just decided to permanently block the admin from sending NG to Oregon. YOU don't see the problem here?

No, they didn't side with Trump. They sided with Democrats in Congress who voted NOT to fund SNAP. Hence, it would be illegal to force the President to do so.

I’m pretty sure this morning I heard the fake news reporting that the DEI Supreme Court justice Kejenga Brown blocked it. Did she reblock it? If so that’s friggin crazy.
