Neither of them would've gone anyway. They have more class than to go to a funeral of someone that they (at least Trump) had zero respect for (deservedly) and upset some of the mourners that had zero to do with anything Cheney (all of them - not just the Dick) did to the USA and the world.
They didn't want the optics of Trump/Vance turning down the invites.
