Some of us want Vengance, some of know we should show forgiveness. What do we do? Do we handle this with a heavy hand now and strike them down or show them forgive them as The Chrisrtian Values has taught the People. Quite the Conundrum. Damned if you Damned if you Don't.
I don't see it that way. I leave it up to God and Jesus to forgive. I feel it's my job to arrange the meeting.
Muslims view a Christian's forgiveness as weakness and proof that whatever they do to further Islam's ultimate goal without anyone stopping them is "the Will of Allah" which justifies their behavior. This line of thinking only emboldens them to act out more because it is their belief that "the Will of Allah" is the full and total Islamic conquering of the world. So you see, there isn't really anything else we can do to change their minds except to continue to fight them until Islam is fully and totally destroyed.
The phrase "Forgiveness is between them and God. It's my job to arrange the meeting" is a famous quote from the movie Man on Fire, spoken by the character Creasy (Denzel Washington). It means that while the act of forgiveness is a personal or divine matter, the character's duty is to create the opportunity for it to happen by bringing the individuals together. In a professional context, it's a way of saying your responsibility is to facilitate the event or encounter, regardless of what happens during it.
i appreciate that explanation as i feel confident i never watched it though it is interesting to me that people use fictional quotes by fictional characters in fictional movies to shape their real life morality, especially knowing who owns that industry. i stopped watching hollywood slop over a decade ago so we will definitely see things differently in that regard.
anyway, i'll stick with Jesus. whoever else wants to, can stick with Creasy's wisdom if they so choose.
Matthew 5:44 - “But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.”
Matthew 6:14–15 - “For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”
Luke 6:27–28 - “But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you."
being a Christian is willingly and knowingly living a life as Christ-like as possible. too many self-proclaimed Christians prefer and willfully choose living Creasy-like from my point of view.
Matthew 7:21-23 - “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’”
exercise your free will as you wish. :)
Hebrews 10:26-27 - "For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries.”
you cannot blame me for you not having knowledge of the truth.
To be honest with you I don't the Bible, I Lakota and never had much interested in in it. Be good to people and hopefully they will be good to you. I also have a very mean a brutal streak within me that shows absolute no mercy that will go straight for for the jugular if you threaten my family, friends and definitely my children or definitely any child. So if abusing a child in any form or fashion or trafficking them is on the table and they will be taken from from you. That is my warning to those coming in from over the border and I am sure that is how others may feel as well . but then I could be wrong. Who knows. I gotta get to work.
first, i understand and respect your sentiment and the voracity behind it. i would never tell you that is wrong, from a wordly human point of view.
i pray that you learn about and get to know Jesus Christ before you leave this earth, fren. He willingly was beaten, tortured, and murdered so you, your family that you love dearly, and everyone else past present and future is given an opportunity for eternal life. it can only be obtained through Him, His love, His mercy, and His grace. We all need a savior because nothing we say or do will ever be good enough in God's eyes to atone for our sin. Jesus atoned for that sin with His bloodshed.
"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6
"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened." Matthew 7:7-8
There's a passage about millstones. There's also a passage about justice after doing an appropriate amount of investigation.
I would also point out we're finding Bible verses that were apparently "tweaked" over multiple iterations, like Matthew on fasting for 3 days now being down to "no meat, two small meals but join us for our big fish fry in the evening!". Look into cellular mitosis and autophagy and you'll get it.
Think along the lines of if you wanted to be in charge and terrorize people, "but no matter what you do to them they still have to forgive you" and you'll start figuring it out.
"And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing.
Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.
For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end.
And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough."
Luke 22:35-38 is often misunderstood in this regard. when Jesus tells His disciples to buy a sword, He is speaking right before His arrest, warning them of the dangers ahead. He is emphasizing preparation and awareness, not encouraging violence or revenge. in fact, later in the same chapter, Jesus stops Peter from using a sword, showing that He does not condone retaliation. the passage also points to prophecy, highlighting that these events fulfill scripture, not a call to attack others. overall, this verse is about being ready for trials, not seeking vengeance. using it to justify harming someone goes against the broader message of Jesus. i hope this helps you better understand this passage in context, u/DieHeretic
Well, I am at the point of "I hate these people" and it's not only these people it's all pols that are involved in corruption plus all of those who want us dead. I know God is not happy with me but I don't have the will to fight it right now, just too much going on to try and understand. It's easier for me to hate them for what they have done to millions of people, I am speaking of past and present people who have suffered immensely because of these demons. My parents, grandparents etc suffered under the weight of their destruction of the economy time and time again. It's absolutely disgusting.😤🤬
Not difficult at all, in my estimation, handle them with the heavy hand and kick them all out of America (unless they committed crimes while in our country, then charge and try them-jail time comes to mind). Or worse.
End of the day thoughts, I would have never allowed them in to begin with. If their country is such a shit hole they need to have their own uprising in their own country and take out the leader that is making their lives miserable. Have their own uprising and take out their own leader and root out the corruption and start there.
So are the 75 goats sent to the Humane society or some form of sanctuary?
I would expect that money is funding Omar's family of terror that was run out of Somalia.

And 1 poor goat is Sharon Peters....
I love Karen, I love Sharon

Not vengeance. Justice is love for future would’ve-been victims.

That's only one interpretation of that passage, there are many other interpretations that disagree with yours. I hope this helps, u/oldschoolfool.
Our “charity” is being used as a weapon against us. They see us as weak fools to be swindled, nothing else.

Nonsense. WE can forgive and still prosecute Criminals to preserve Civilization.
The names from "Bekam" down, on the second column, are repeated on the third column. Why?
That is odd ... it's 75 names before the repeat happens.
BIG Cluster of Arabic names....Just saying!
It's a foreign born RICO organization that needs dismantled and sent back to the shithole they came from.

One Billion Dollars.
That’s a huge sum of money considering where it went. Treasonous theft.
This is odd. Usually when a post on this site points out names it's ....Joooooooooooos.
Sharon Ross is there twice.
Aimee Marie Bock
Dorothy Jean Moore
Now I feel racist for assuming skin colors, national origin, ancestry, etc🤣😂
those are women’s names
There is no help like having woke white ladies on your side.
