From another Anon:
I'm very glad to hear that.
Cancer can do that to people.
One of my non-Christian BFFs had it in 2013 and was nearing death.
I wrote out the Prayer of Salvation for him and sent it to him with a note that said, "Why not pray this? Why not give your heart to Jesus Christ before it's too late? What the Hell do you have to lose?"
He texted me shortly before I died and said he prayed the Prayer of Salvation and meant it.
So when my dear friend died, it didn't hurt as much because I know that he's in Heaven with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
I pray the same for Scott Adams and everyone n this planet, even our evil enemies, for whom it still is not too late.

All you have to do is repent and believe in Jesus Christ, and you are saved.
Acts 2:37 Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?”
38 Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the [k]remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.”
Right, what's with the "planning" to convert
You can do it instantly
Did not sound genuine at all. He said he would convert because if he simply claims to be christian before he dies then he goes to heaven. Conversely, if he DIDN'T convert before he dies and there IS a heaven, he wouldn't make it in.
I didn't like how he said it and I don't like that he believes he will go to heaven simply by claiming to be a Christian convert. Literally putting zero effort and claiming salvation just doesn't sit right with me.
I have to agree. Sounded more like hedging his bets. Basically he was saying something like “Yeah, a bunch of you want me to so I’ll do it just in case you’re right.” Not for me to judge, but I’m not sure that constitutes faith the size of a mustard seed.
Perhaps if/when he “converts” he’ll learn what being a Christian is, who Jesus is, what He did for us, etc. God knows what’s in Mr Adams’ heart, doesn’t begrudge us for questioning faith, so the ultimate “outcome” will be God’s choice. It would be beautiful if SA (and any other current nonbeliever) were to actually get to know Jesus while he’s on this earth. Even his tepid, insincere step in the right direction may lead to something fruitful. God can work miracles in people.
Fear is strong in a non-believer. He doesn't have much time. He needs prayers.
nobody 'plans on converting to christianity'
that's not how it works. kek
best he can do is investigate it and pray to God sincerely, if he's sincere.
Scott Adams is a go getter. He has an episode 60 Ego and Morality.
Jesus is the only way to Heaven and Scott is a very intelligent person and very gifted. We will never know how he is during this phase in life. From what I gather is he is not very emotional in the public view.
I think for one as he to publicly state this is huge.
Good for him.

Oh Dispensationals look at the scriptures below.
What's it say? We are chosen???
John 15 16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
Matthew 22:14 King James Version 14 For many are called, but few are chosen.
"Free will carried many a soul to hell, but never a soul to heaven." Charles Spurgeon
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. 29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.
Amen brother. Excellent verse. You nailed it but only those guided by the Spirit of God can understand that scripture.
1 Corinthians 2 14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
Amen!
This is not an either/ or but both /and. (Voted you up anyway!)
Why thank you kind ma'am!
Good News
Praise God!!!!
