Not to appear ungrateful, but what about those of us who don't borrow money?
Throw us a bone with meat on it.
Deductible interest, reduced interest and other incentives to borrow money works against us and for the lenders.
Many are not receiving tips, collecting social security or qualifying for child deductions. Some have opted out of the medical/pharmaceutical/industrial complex so don't get subsidies.
We, the people who don't participate in these schemes would like some relief too.

I have 2 credit cards but I pay them off every month to avoid interest rates. This will not effect me either. Maybe it will help the economy in the long run. I am not an economist but it seems lower interest rates anywhere is a good thing.
At this point I’m taking bets on how long till someone try’s to take a shot at him again.
He’s firing a whole lotta shots against extremely wealthy interests.
This will work miracles for the Economy. Spending will go up big time.

I don't know what the real purpose of this post is, but it is not to "decrease Bankster usury to 10%" (the original amount of the usury fraud).

Does he have the power to do this? If so, under what legal Theory? I would think credit card companies would have to agree with this since the agreements are legal contracts between the company and cardholders.
He could prosecute them for usury, maybe. It does seem like a stretch. Let's see what happens.
But having democrats defend high interest rates is a neat trick however it happens!
You would think the clowns on the left would finally wake up, but their TDS is so strong that they are defending illegals with their lives and think Trump should let Maduro go free. Whether he can make the case for having the power depends on how he wants to argue it. He could make an argument about a National Security risk for instance. People in mountains of debt may prove more susceptible to bribery
Though to be frank. I think legal theory has stopped mattering at this point
I never charge much and pay off my balance every month, but this will be great for everyone else. The banks have been ripping off people this way since credit cards came into vogue.
When is this interest rate cap supposed to take place?
Let’s not forget that they all said Tariffs, Tax Cuts and more would harm the people. Trust the plan, there has to be a positive consequence all the experts are fighting against. This will dent the fat cats 10-15% monthly-immediately! There is probably more we are not considering. (New financial system) We all know, It’s no secret now.
