He has a history of confronting political figures, including regularly protesting outside Christ Church in Washington, D.C., where Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth worships, calling congregants names and accusing them of being complicit in oppressive policies. This William Kelly should not be confused with other individuals of the same name, such as the 19th-century inventor of the steelmaking process, the medical oncologist at UT Health San Antonio, or the anthropology professor at Yale.
